Came across this place randomly on social media and decided to pay a visit as was in the area. Lovely little tap room, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a nice range of beers on tap. More interesting beers than the now commercial Magic Rock so we'll be back when next in the area for sure. They also have various food pop ups and open deck nights, nice to see some variation. YoYo the beer monkey also enjoyed it so it's five stars from us!

Called in for a coffee and wasn't disappointed. This place is a quirky place that is obviously known by local residents. It was lovely and busy but we're able to find seats next to the window to watch the world pass by. We'll call in again if in the area. It'll be lovely in warm weather when sitting outside is more comfortable.

Nice cosy bar with helpful, very friendly staff. Great beer and a good selection of cans and bottles. Also the outside area is excellent for families or just chilling out in the sunshine. The quality of food vendors on over the weekends are great too.The art exhibition by Claire Murray is excellent! Also they just won "Camera's season pub of the year award"!

Great bar next to the Huddersfield canal.
Plenty of seating outside some undercover.
Great atmosphere inside and great playlist!
Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Good choice of there own ales and some guest beers in the fridges.
Street food was delicious.
Nice clean unisex toilets love the old safe !
Well worth a walk along the canal from Slaithwaite or Marsden.

I like it, it's conveniently placed to go on a nice dog walk and have a drink, maybe some food. However, the lack of facilities to dispose of dog waste is bizarre. A lot of people take their dogs there, it must be a huge source of their revenue, so why not allow people to dispose of dog waste? Plenty of places to put a bin and it's massively inconvenient to not be able to.

Nobody likes the smell of it! There are lots of places to put a bin well away from the seating. What a silly response.
