We couldn't ask for a better start to our daughter's life than Young Friends nursery.

The space itself, with the sanctuary of a garden, rabbits and the kitchen garden; the nursery's ethos with regards to the recycled materials they use for play, communal cooking and a deep love and respect for nature, gives the children an invaluable grounding in the true values in life.

We cannot begin to describe the nurturing support the staff have given our daughter and us as a family, which has enabled her to truly flourish as a person. The staff have been an inspiration, going above and beyond what we could ever imagine a nursery could be.

Young Friends has been absolutely amazing. Having moved down from London where our daughter went to a fantastic nursery we never thought we’d find somewhere as good but Young Friends surpassed our wildest expectations. Young Friends made such a difference in our daughter's life (and ours). The steps she's made in her development, her increased confidence, her curiosity, and her verbal advances: these have all been nurtured so wonderfully by their amazing staff and she’s learned a host of valuable skills that she’ll take forward for years to come. Both my daughters have attended this wonderful establishment. Every day they went, they were excited to go and have learnt lots whilst having fun. The nursery stresses the importance of the environment and our surroundings to the children whilst maintaining goals and achievements, but most importantly enjoying themselves. The garden is incredible, including the guinea pigs. All the staff have been fantastic throughout the years. I am proud to say my children went to Young Friends.

My wife posted a review which the company had deleted by google. She spoke of this nursery's lack of consideration by parking their two vans in the street when they have an always-empty driveway with enough space for two vehicles. And when I say always empty I really mean it. With parking at a premium in town this is grossly unnecessary and inconsiderate.
But what's worse is their apparent neglect of the children in their care. It's 5:25pm as I write this on 16/8/22, and for the last half an hour several children have been crying to the point of desperation. No one seems to be doing anything about it. Even with earphones and music in my ears I can still hear the crying. Quite pathetic childcare as it is undeniable they are being ignored. Yes children cry and there's nothing you can do about it. But you can tend to them and try and stop it! Judging by the exhausted nature of the cries this is not happening at all. It's just got louder now (if that was even possible)!

I've never seen any other nursery involving children in that many activities than Young Friends Nursery! My little one loves mornings when she knows she's going there, comes back with so much to talk about. Would recommend this nursery!
