OMG I can't believe this gem of a place has been on my doorstep for so many years and I didn't even know it.
We decided to visit Fossfield Farm on Good Friday for a little Easter treat and bought a few different flavours. Chocolate.
Cookie dough.
Sea salted caramel and
Lemon and lime sorbet.
The flavours are amazing and so creamy and the sorbet is so refreshing.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and super patient waiting for us to pick out our favourite flavours.
Now I know not everyone is lucky enough to live so close to this fantastic farm but if you do get the chance to try Yorvale ice cream then do, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for making us feel so welcome guys, we will definitely be back to try more great flavours ?

Just had Yorvale ice cream for the first time at dinner at the Mayflower in Rotherhithe, London. I had coconut and double chocolate. They were delicious, not unlike the ice cream I ate in America as a child in the 1940s and 60s. This is old fashioned ice cream, creamy and comforting, quite unlike more fashionable gelato (which I also love). I shall be searching stockists to see who sells it. It is a wonderful product.
