Booked a 2 night stay at the camp site and had a vineyard tour on Saturday. Very interesting tour, Chris and Gillian are great hosts. Site is lovely, very clean showers and toilets. We had the whole site to ourselves so lovely and quiet too! Had breakfast in the cafe both mornings and would highly recommend. We took our two dogs who were welcome everywhere on site. Finally, the wine is seriously good!

My partner and I were bought a voucher for a vine yard tour and light lunch which we used recently. The tour was really interesting and the passion came across in abundance. We started the tour with a great speech on its history while drinking some of their sparkling white wine, then went for a walk and tour around the vine yard. We then had 3 small glasses of wine to try, white, rose and a red with some different bits of food on a plate to eat while trying the wine. We then had a light lunch and we bought a bottle of white to drink with lunch. The wine is ok, a little too acidic for us so didn't purchase any for ourselves. All in all a lovely couple of hours and we would recommend a visit if it's just to support a local business who's passion makes the tour!

Had an amazing weekend here. Did their brewery tour on Friday evening, lots of very nice beers to sample followed by a Yorkshire Tapas supper. On Saturday we did the wine tour sampling their lovely wines followed by lunch. We stayed on their campsite which is beautifully maintained with very clean toilet and shower facilities. Chris, Tim and their family could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Fantastic value for money too.

Having just spent the weekend at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard, I genuinely do not have a bad word to say about any part of it.

Firstly what a beautiful setting, you can sit amongst the vines and forget about all your worries and day to day life. Which is exactly what we both wanted and needed.

Secondly, the beer and wine produced onsite is exquisite, very reasonably priced and always served with a smile.

Next, the food. Whether it was the nibbles to go with our wine tasting, our supper or our lunch it was tasty, plentiful and perfectly presented. Handmade in the kitchen and immaculately served.

Onto the atmosphere. Chilled, relaxed, very special but never pretentious. Whether you want to wear your favourite summer dress, shirt and shoes or shorts and a t-shirt (that's me!) you don't feel out of place.

Finally, everyone that works on site, the one big happy family! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel part of it. If you want to learn about the history and process then you hear the passion and understand the hard work that goes into this business. If you want a laugh and a joke then you are in the right place. Not many places I've visited make you feel as at home as these guys. If you hold onto what you have, you will only go from strength to strength.

We will be back and next time we will bring friends as Yorkshire Heart is for sharing. Thank you so much, take care and we will see you soon.

We stayed here in our campervan for two nights and despite being joined by storm Lillian, we had a lovely experience where we sampled a variety of the wine, had a lovely stroll through the vineyard and great chat with the owner; was really nice to hear about the vineyard, his past and ambitions for the development of the vineyard (we hope you get your tractor shed back :). The camping facilities are perfectly adequate and clean. Good shower, clean flushing toilets, decent loo roll, easy access to water. A cold tap in the shower/loo cabins for teeth brushing would be a welcome addition. The pitches are open to the elements, which in our case wasn’t ideal due to the winds experienced but I’m sure would equally make for an absolutely beautiful sunset on a clear day. I also imagine the starry skies would be incredible on a clear night. The cost to camp is really reasonable and it’s a beautiful setting. Our trip didn’t align with the scheduled tours (which we knew before going as they’re well publicised on their website) so we did the wine cellar wine tasting with Yorkshire tapas and it was wonderful. Personal highlight was the greeting from Molly (one of the two) chocolate labs - what a beautiful dog. She also roamed out to the pitches in the morning and came to say hello. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! Also recommend the 15-20 min walk to the Alice hawthorn pub in the village; the food is sublime! Make sure you take headlights for the walk back after dark.

Had a great night and winery tour. Lovely wines and food to be had. They could not do enough for you. Small negative point was the tables were too close together. Elbow room and personal space a little limited
Second day tasting cellar door 3 types with tapas. Lovely again lovely wines food and beer on tap.
Definitely worth a visit. Just don't camp !!
