We drove all the way to Melton Mobray in search of the famous pork pie, and we're not disappointed. Walking down the main street, there is ham pie heaven. The shop is beautifully renovated and the goods were well displayed. We bought a huge pork pie to share for dinner. The staff are so friendly.

First time visiting this shop, it’s really clean and organised. The staff are lovely and the pies and bread delicious. The pies are handmade and that’s reflected in the price.
The pie itself was perfectly seasoned and the pastry left no after taste. Perfect. They have a range of handmade sweet and savoury products, as-well-as drinks and pickles. Definitely will visit again.

Pure pork pie professionalism. We intentionally detoured to Melton Mobray on the hunt for the famous pork pie. Walking along the high street... there is pork pie paradise. Well organised. Chilled products are priced, so no guessing. We bought a huge pork ? pie to share for supper, also some cheese ? and pickle. Can't wait ?. The people working are so freindly.

I recently received a parcel of porkpies, chutney and ale from Ye Olde Porkpie Shoppe of Melton Mowbray and it went down an absolutely treat! My (three year old) daughter was very particular impressed with the pastry and the fantastic chutney and has been enjoying it with cheese. The pork pies were definitely the best I have had - really, very tasty!

Fantastic place for a proper Melton Mowbray pork pie. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It's situated in the town centre so you'll have to use the car parks around the centre and the traffic wardens are on point with checking every car has a ticket.
