“A good shop is a good store”. I popped in yesterday and found so many of the little things I needed, staples as well as a few niche items. Fruit and veg is good quality. Overheads are low, so there is no insane mark-up you often find with farm shops. Local meat, spuds and of course the cold-pressed oils are all excellent and good value. And they are genuinely good folk here. Well worth stopping for.

Such a bizarre & unfriendly place. We stumbled upon it on Google Maps and decided to pop in & stock up our campervan. 2 dogs were loose in the yard on arrival, no problem to us as we had a dog on lead, but one growled at ours and so we moved away. We then checked the self service Farmshop to see if dog friendly, no signs anywhere & nothing on floor of shop for him to upset, so we took our well behaved pup inside this farm building. Whilst browsing, a very scruffy man walked in and asked if our dog was well behaved? He then followed with telling us no dogs allowed inside this shop… we said we checked for signs & he told us there were “a million around the site / on the windows”… On advising him that we didn’t see any, he tried to show us outside the shop & couldn’t, realising there were actually none. He then backtracked & told us we were fine on this occasion to go in and shop, but by this point made us feel super uncomfortable and we left. He was rude in comments under his breath as we left, so not really the best first experience here - we have taken our business elsewhere & would not recommend or return.

If you are visiting, or if you live in Norfolk this is a local farm shop that offers you a wide range of produce! Great choices of meat and cheese in the cabinets and wonderful ice cream! If you’re into cooking bring an empty bottle and stock up on oil. They have three you can choose from and others already bottled! This is a true farm shop with dogs, guinean fowl, cows and various other animals. Welcome to the countryside! Parking is available and the area is dog friendly but dogs are not allowed in the shop or cafe.

We really love these oils and oil infusions.
The lemon infusion is absolutely fantastic (2nd favourite, the butter infusion).
With olive oil hitting £10-£15 in the shops, why are we still importing it and even buying it
Favourite salad dressing = Yare Valley Lemon Infusion, plus cider vinegar + black pepper. = quick inexpensive local delicious dressing
BTW the on-site self-service shop is fantastic, with a top rate Portuguese Patisserie / Café right next door

The farm shop has lately become our first choice when buying meat. The price is reasonable, most is very local and the taste has been so much better than that bought in a supermarket. Good for oil too. Would certainly recommend a visit to see what is available.
