Testimonials

"What a lovely park. The views are fantastic. The staff I met were very friendly. I must say an extremely well done to the gardeners who work there, not a spec of rubbish and well tended grounds, flowers and features around the park. My caravan was clean and well equipped with all I needed for self catering, plus a lovely view from my decking. Would definitely stay again."

Liked: The pod was warm and cosy. Clean and tidy on arrival. Good for us with one child and a dog.
Swimming pool was lovely, perfect for our stay, we used it twice. Easy to book and get in to. Sauna was a bonus too.
Dog walk was ideal, safe and secure. Peaceful and picturesque.
Shop was well stocked, friendly / helpful staff.
The park itself has good amenities, lovely planting and well maintained. Beautiful natural surroundings.

Disliked: Taps in the toilets / shower block as they run a lot - find this a bit wasteful for the planet.
Could you have recycled toilet paper?

We have just returned from a three night stay as a couple with our dog. ||This is a nice park, with lovely views of the countryside and it has a huge dog walking field which our dog absolutely loved. The two members of staff that we spoke to during our day, at check-in and at the café, were very friendly and helpful. The park is very well maintained and is clean. ||We personally wouldn’t return to this particular park for a few reasons and I think it’s just personal preference and nothing negative about the park. We prefer parking the car next to the caravan. You have to park your car in the main car park. There is not a clubhouse/restaurant/bar. It’s sometimes nice to go get a drink or a snack as it was very hot during our day . They only have a café, which is very nice, however it has limited opening times, only serves breakfast and dinner on certain days, and the dinner is limited to one dish I believe. We ate there on the Friday and had fish and chips and the fish was delicious. |There are recycling bins next to the car park, so that means there are no bins around the rest of the park which isn’t very convenient but not a huge issue. There is a very small shop at reception which is at the top of the hill at the entrance of the park by all of the pods where you can stay and camp. The rest of the caravans are down the hill. The shop is very limited to what it sells, so with this and the café, we recommend that you stock up and bring supplies. ||We stayed in number 43 caravan which is just off the path, we were grateful for this as the rest of the caravans which are quite bunched together would mean it would be difficult to unload all of your stuff when you arrive and leave the park as you would have to walk through all of the caravans to get to yours.. Our caravan was a silver plus, it was nice and had a really nice wrap round Veranda with table and chairs. Unfortunately, the cookware wasn’t clean which meant we didn’t really want to do any cooking from scratch to be honest. Maybe not the owner’s fault but the people who stayed there before? |There was a decent shower In ours as well as sometimes showers in a caravan can be.||As this park is more about the views, this is a Quiet area, but you are right on the main Road which makes it easier to travel in either direction to go somewhere. I believe there is a small shop and only one or two pubs in Charmouth itself. |There is a nice beach there though. Bigger supermarkets you’re looking 20 minutes or more in a car. We visited Seaton and went on a tram ride and went to Lyme Regis, which was really good and had lots more to do there.

We love this park, the staff are friendly, and we have a smile. The food is simple. The kids
devour the pizza. The walks and lakes are lovely, a dog friendly park, which attracts lovely families and couples who appreciate nature. The town and beach aren't walking distance.

We booked last minute, it was a really good price so i wasn't expecting alot, however I was blown away, the site itself is very clean and looks very new, our caravan was immaculate and looked to be very new, our balcony looked over the children's play area which the children thought was amazing. We used the pool on our last day, the changing rooms were lovely and clean and we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves, I also have to say the life guard on duty was a lovely chap! Will definitely be coming again. Thank you for a lovely weekend away!

Liked: The pods were perfect, beds were comfy and clean.
Stayed lovely and warm once we worked out how to use the radiator.
Had everything we needed for our 2 nights away

Disliked: The swimming pool was apparently 30°
It felt more like 15°, had to get out after 15mins.

You can hear the traffic on the main road just outside the park- this is no fault of the park though

Liked: We stayed in a pod, great views of the park and country side.
The pod was as described, basic but comfortable, great outside space for alfresco living. Pool and tennis courts on site was a bonus. Sourdough pizza from the cafe was amazing.

Disliked: My only grumble is the showers needed to be cleaned more often, towards the end of the day they were looking grubby.

Quite caravan park, nicely spaced out accommodation. Beautiful views and very well kept. Ideal for couples and young families. Great for dogs with area for exercising. Previous review recommends remembering to bring towels, bath mats, tea towels, washing up liquid etc. Didn't use the pool or cafe, but look nice. Friendly helpful staff. I would definitely return.
