We have been twice now. Last summer and this Easter and both times were great fun! It is all outdoors and might be different on rainy days, but we have had 2 dry days. It has loads of space so it has never felt like it was crowded. We went on the train (for a small additional cost) which is lovely. There are different areas to suit different children. My daughter would have spent the whole day in the massive sand pit/mud kitchen area and my son loved the foot golf the most. But we got round everything. We did the Easter trail which was a nice addition. It was nice as an adult to see the birds and the nature around as well. It seems to have something for all. The cafe has basic food (sandwiches, cakes, crisps) as we knew from last time and took a picnic this time.
We went whilst on holiday, but would go again when we are back up this way. Definitely could spend the whole day there!

Woldies is an amazing place for young families and people who like to spend time in nature. There are beautiful planted areas and lavender fields which will smell amazing when in flower; and various play areas, including 2 large sand and water play areas. There are plenty of seats around the site and picnic benches near the entrance/cafe and play area, many under cover to provide protection or shade depending on the weather.
The cafe was reasonable if you have not brought your own picnic; and the toilets were clean and child friendly. The highlight of the trip for our train mad grandson, was the miniature train which was £2.50 pp extra.
I would definitely recommend a visit if in the area, admission charge is reasonable and an annual pass is available for people who visit regularly. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Overall this is a lovely, wholesome nature park where young children can explore and have fun and families can spend time enjoying the outdoors and nature.

Brilliant day as always. Great value for money (recommend buying tickets in advance to save a few pennies) & so much to do. Kids had a ball. The owner went above & beyond today after we accidentally missed our allotted train ride time & he happily stayed back after hours to take us for our trip. Thank you!! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

So by far one of the best if not the best day out in a long time. As A fulltime wheelchair user normally you go places and find you can not get anywhere and have to sit in the car while others go of and enjoy themselves. Not the case here. Path are great and they really have made an effort to make sure wheelchair users can enjoy the whole site.
Can not recommend this place enough. Will be going back as we went at the beginning of the year and will be going back when the Lavender is out in full bloom.
The staff could not do enough to help and went out there way to make sure you where looked after. Café was great and the toilets where even able to be used in my big wheelchair.
Other places that say they are accessible and fall short should take a visit here and see what a real place does to make wheelchair guest valued.
Highlighted parts for me:
* Full Assessable
*Able to get on the train as a wheelchair user
*Ground and paths hard standing all the way round
*Plants and benches at knee height so able to read and enjoy the plants
*Toilets wheelchair friendly
*Parking on Hard Standing
*As a wheelchair user made to feel welcome
*Treated as a equal not as an after thought.

Well done guys thanks for the effort you have taken.

Just had a great day out with an almost 3 year old. We were there for most of the day and didn't do everything. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We took a picnic and there were plenty of places to eat. The miniature railway drives through the areas of lavender and the smell was gorgeous! We will definitely go again.
