I think this is a company which is failing. I gave them two things to repair 5 weeks ago. I expected a wait of a couple of weeks. Communication was terrible from the company with nobody apparently knowing what was happening. I was promised numerous times that my equipment would be serviced by the next week, and then the next and then the next. A week ago I was told that the trimmer was ready and that the Strimmer would absolutely be ready by the week after. Next week comes - 5 weeks after handing it in - and I call to ask if I can pick it up. No. It's not ready - the carburettor hadn't even been ordered. Bear in mind that I told them 5 weeks previously that it needed a new carburettor! Then I was told that there were non in stock to order so there was no date for my carburettor to be changed. I said I'd just come and collect it - unrepaired. Then I called another company who instantly and miraculously ordered me a carburettor!!

When I went to collect my items I was changed £56 for a bolt and sharpen on the trimmer with no guarantee that this would resolve it's cutting problems.

I was also changed £30 for the privilege of getting my long lost and unrepaired strimmer back after it's 5 week holiday. I politely said I was unhappy with this charge. The manager was simply unapologetic. Nothing. No remorse. No sorry for the long wait. No attempt whatsoever to come to any kind of resolution except for telling me it could be fixed tomorrow. Which obviously it wouldn't be because he didn't have the part. He pointed to a sign saying I'd be charged for diagnostics and that was that. I paid and said I'd never use them again.

Honestly my advice would be to find a better company - one who treats their customers with a little respect, seeks resolutions for their customers and who actually does the work they are contracted to do.

My other bit of advice is to buy electric. Electric strimmers / chainsaws/ mowers etc are amazing nowadays and this will starve their business of the workshop trade from the unreliable old two stroke engine equipment. Just don't buy from them.

I think this company will probably go out of business at some point in the not too distant future and by not using it I think you'd be helping to put it out of it's misery.

Just bought a robotic mower. Neil was very knowledgeable giving us all the options. Happily worked out the prices which we took away to mull over. It was carefully installed by Ian, who made sure I knew what I was doing before he left & followed up with a couple of calls to be sure were happy & give more information.

Have been a good customer over the last few years and have bought 3 different items of significant equipment from them, despite always having found the staff fairly unfriendly. Brought back one of the items for repair and was quite disappointed with the customer service I received . Decided , consequently not to go ahead with the repair and have taken the item elsewhere. I won't be purchasing anymore items from them, unless.its absolutely necessary. Just disappointed and would have expected more

I have been an account holder at wmplant for years. As time has gone on I have found them to have become un competitive and some of the staff are rude and unhelpful. The most recent example was 6 chains I dropped off for sharping I was charged £84 for this service and the chains hadn't been oiled and some sharpened badly. When I questioned the heavily inflated price quoting the £6 per chain I found online the bloke I spoke to was rude and unapologetic saying quote. "I could explain why we are more expensive but there's no point". I'm all for supporting local business but after the service I received today I will be taking my business elsewhere. 2stars to reflect the good service I have had years ago.....
