We booked here for my mum’s birthday, and really weren’t disappointed by the food. The meals and the cakes are glorious, really well made and everything is hot and fresh. My grandma ordered chicken which was honestly perfectly made, sauce was amazing. The cafe itself is lovely and well presented.
Although the food didn’t take too long to come out which seemed to be the biggest criticism that we’d read, staff did seem a bit overloaded and one man seemed to be doing a lot of the front of house stuff. This meant that when people came in for take out drinks, other things slowed down a bit. He was doing his very best but I think there was a lot expected of him!
My main issue was the volume, the music was loud and some songs had quite strong bass lines, along with it being busy meant my grandma basically checked out for the whole meal as she just couldn’t hear anything. The women on the table next to us said the same.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday lunch at Wisteria Kitchen and it was exceptional. The portions were generous, leaving me thoroughly satisfied, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Opting for the turkey—a choice I don't often make—I was delighted by its delicious flavor and tenderness.

The ambiance of Wisteria Kitchen is truly enchanting. The decor creates a beautiful and flowery setting that enhances the dining experience. The attention to detail in both the menu and the surroundings makes Wisteria Kitchen a standout destination for a memorable meal. They serve also decaf oat coffee which is a rare find these days.

For those seeking a delightful Sunday lunch in a charming atmosphere, Wisteria Kitchen is a must-visit.

We went for festive afternoon tea this afternoon and was greatly disappointed with the quality of the food.
The sandwiches were dry (you could tell they had been sitting out for a while).
The scones were very crumbly and dense.
The chocolate truffles and crispy cake were very hard, making them difficult to bite into.
This was a very ascetically pleasing meal but the quality of the food let it down.
We also ordered some potato skins which were very greasy and a chocolate orange cheesecake which was wildly out of proportion. There was a lot of the cheesecake topping and very little biscuit that was so compacted you couldn’t scoop it. The volume of cheesecake make it difficult to eat the biscuit and cream cheese together.
The staff were welcoming and lovely but the service was slow (we had to flag down staff to ask questions, we weren’t checked on after given our food)
Overall disappointing and could be improved.

Wow wow wow!!! Had the most amazing meal at Wisteria Kitchen, we thought we’d try the Pan Asian Six Course Taster Menu and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, spicy, zesty and definitely wowed the taste buds. The service was fabulous, very attentive, professional and friendly. Hats off to the chefs and staff, exceptional! Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again, can’t wait to see what the next bistro evening will be!

Do not visit here if you have allergies

We visited here yesterday (Saturday) and did not have a good experience. The food was fine, nothing special and certainly looked nicer than it tasted (the milkshakes were awful), but not when it took over an hour from our arrival and my husband had to change his orde. Staff came over three times to warn of contamination of products with peanuts, with a couple of the comments including how they'll ask the chef to wash their hands... As if they don't already do that?!

Do not come here if you have a peanut allergy, they told us the food he ordered did not include it but asked twice if he had an EpiPen - even after he said he would only react if he ate a peanut.

After the third visit to the table he changed his order, but the food took over an hour to arrive with no apology. The table next to us arrived at least 30 minutes after us but their food was given to them less than 5 minutes after we were served.

Overall it looks a lot nicer than the experience is. We do not recommend, especially if you have any allergies.

A visit to Wisteria Kitchen is always such a treat! This was our 4th visit as sadly it’s a bit of drive for us but always worth it.
Fabulous choice on the menu, food was delicious and lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Can't speak highly enough about this place, the food was absolutely outstanding with loads to choose from, every plate I saw go past me looked heavenly and I couldn't wait for mine to turn up! Staff were incredibly polite and professional, they approached and introduced themselves by name etc but in a very casual not in your face sort of way which was a nice touch! Layout is very chilled, upmarket and clean! Can't wait to go back for a date night with my wife soon!!
