Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Suitable for both rain and shine as barns are mainly indoors. Opportunities to hold the smaller animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I always enjoy a visit to the petting farm. Yesterday I visited their new location, which had the immediate noticeable benefit of onsite parking. The ticket office was the first delight of the visit, was the young chicks in the ticket office that were wonderful to see and hear. Unlike the previous location this new one has the animals confined to a barn behind barriers. I found this was a little disappointing, as the previous site allowed for a full immersive experience with the animals. However, I can understand this new set up as some people who aren't used to animals may have complained, and I suppose it is easier to manage the animals and visitors with this new set up.
But I would still recommend everyone to visit the farm, because the opportunity to get up close and personal to pet and hand feed the animals is an experience you won't forget any time soon.
