Seriously need to address the parking firm currently employed. I got a £60 ticket, because they said I was parked for over 90 minutes. I'm a tradesman and only go to pick up materials. There's no way on this earth I'd ever be in there longer than half hour.

Having dealt with Wickes over the years and always been satisfied. I was very disappointed after having bought a toilet seat on the 4th April 2024 and within 3 weeks the chrome began peeling off the fittings. I approached the manager of the Folkestone store who refused to rectify the problem or offer a refund or credit note. Stating company policy was not to repair or replace sanitary products due to health and safety reasons. Not satisfied with this, I contacted the citizens advice team who advised me to write to the store requesting a repair or replacement within 14 days under the sale of goods act. I sent the letter recorded on the 28th May 2024 it was signed for on the 29th May. It’s now 16th of June and still no communication from the store. So I’ve contacted my credit card issuer who have kindly refunded my card.
It’s a shame that Wickes customer service now seems to be so poor.

Standard wickes..nice place..lots.in stock...only 3 star due to the inept ability of the checkout guy overcharging me for an item which meant I had to return to store to resolve wasting my time on a Sunday!

I like Wickes at Folkestone. I'm usually able to get what I require. Staff are helpful. Easy free parking and there is an inside loo. Nice food wagon in the carpark as well. Opening times are good also.
