Had spotted this bakery whilst driving to Skipton on previous trips.
Called in on Saturday morning bought bacon roll and coffee. Both excellent.
On return trip on Monday bought the takeaway cottage pie with peas and gravy. Was still warm when I got home over 1 5 hrs later. Just put it in microwave to get really hot and it was superb. Would buy this again.
Also bought a ham salad box for tea later.

That chicken did not need to die for this pie, probably the driest pie that I ever attempted to eat. Not even those mushy peas and 'Rola Cola Ketchup' could wash that pie down.
This is a Monday lunchtime, I'm guessing that pie was baked last week and now reheated.

Ordered BLT and a spam sandwiches . Bacon lightly cooked and not a nice taste also all sandwiches were cold. Expensive and not worth tge money. Too busy chatting to another worker from the back of the shop and missed a ladies order too. Won't be going back.

Driving through the area on my way to Keighley, seen this shop before and never stopped. Will do next time though.
Really clean, busy, always a good sign.
Plenty of staff who were polite and quick.
Bacon and sausage sandwich was piping hot and beautiful.

Whats not to love! Seriously I could eat the whole menu & now they stock the famous pies (Haffners)well these are to die for, you will not find another pie that beats this one, the sandwiches are freshly made in front of you offering different salads & dressings etc. They have daily specials, pasta salads, jacket potatoes- the list goes on. honestly if you haven't been then you need to call in - you will not be disappointed.
Can't wait to visit again - thanks Whitesides ☺️

Been a few times now as my work colleague enjoys the jacket potato’s. Each time I’ve got a large sandwich and each time it’s just all bread. I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt but yesterday I ordered a large egg Mayo and had the equivalent of half an egg in a large sandwich. The point is to taste the filling not just bread ….

For 7 years this has been my tuesday lunch stop off.
No longer I'm afraid. I think it has changed hands and the drop off has been huge.
week 1 inedible old salad leaves
week 2 inedible black pudding scotch egg, coating greasy and undercooked
week 3 five staff behind the counter, none of whom took it upon themselves to actualy make my order.
Thats enough chances so I'll have to find somewhere else
