Purchase two packs of Whitby Scampi Bites advertised on the packet as succulent cod and scampi in crisp golden crumb . Well I found NO COD OR SCAMP , just a blob of what appeared to be paste in each crispy bite . WHAT A CON . Every bite in the packet was the same . Why do these companies think they can get away with fleecing the general public . It was a disgusting meal something I was really looking forward to.

Scampi bites awful and miss leading as the bold word is scampi and smaller word is bites. Absolutely awful would never buy again. I love your scampi but because of this you have lost me as a customer. I find the smaller writing on Bites very misleading so I am definitely not buying your brand ever again.

We regularly have scampi and I always choose Whitby Seafoods Scampi. I find the taste and crispiness to be the best. I also like knowing that it is a UK family business. It is great to have a bag or two in the freezer and my three teenagers will cook some themselves, in the air fryer, if they want a quick scampi snack.

Personally,love scampi from Whitby seafoods, Iceland sells it locally in Nottinghamshire.
I love it with chips & mushy peas.
In a bun with salad & mayo,or even sweet chilli sauce, nothing better for a Friday night tea,or better,any day of the week.
Scampi bites too,get my thumbs up too👍👍👍

I have bought the scampi quite regularly in the past but will not be doing so in future:
The last couple of bags I have purchased comprise at least 50% of pieces that do not contain any langoustine tails at all but merely a tasteless mush comprising I don't know what!
The product used to be really good quality and my go-to make for scampi but the quality has really deteriorated in recent times.

We often have scampi and salad as one of our go to meals and we always choose Whitby scampi. My son loves it as do we! (and I also like the fact that they use less plastic packaging now too)

Scampi? 25%cod and 8% crustaceans. Real lack of crustacean in this product. Tasteless and mushy.
There's better eating in a tin of pedigree chum. And please don't ask for packaging details . Going by the comments it's all of them.

Just breading. Didn't taste of scampi, can't believe it was made of anything like scampi. Awful.
