So fed up. Hard to get to. No one there. 3 pints of raw milk in a fridge and an honesty box in a bare concrete bunker rather than a shop. No Fellstone cheese to buy anywhere I could see. Such a shame - I soo wanted to buy one of England's finest cheeses from the source. Don't think I'll be back!!

Raw milk - excellent friendly service! They also have a selection of unpasteurised cheeses which are incredibly delicious. They have recently moved away from plastic bottles to glass ones for the raw milk which makes our family happy as we are trying to reduce the amount of plastic in our lives.

Would we even attempt to go here again DEFINITELY not. After travelling 7 hrs to find a site to stay the night we rang before hand to enquire if they had a pitch available, suitable for a motorhome, we were told yes that they had hardstanding, so we travelled down this very narrow lane untill we came to the site ( amazing views ,we thought that this would be lovely ) we were shown up this steep narrow driveway to a field, when we asked where the hardstanding was he showed us 2 boards,1 was ply and the other was rotten, he then said drive onto the field BUT dont stop as the field is wet ( understatement) we drove on and guess what STUCK, we then reversed off the field and said that we were not going to stay, he kept saying you'll be fine , but we didnt want to stay any longer. We reversed all the way back down this steep narrow drive and when we looked at our motorhome it was covered in mud all the way up to the roof. This fellows name is still MUD even after 4 weeks.
What a stupid man
Motorhomes BEWARE if its wet DONT GO there.
Only good thing was the views
