I recently had an experience with the customer service representative over the phone at this establishment, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. While I understand the importance of questioning customers to ensure their needs are met, the conversation quickly became uncomfortable.

During the call, I mentioned that I needed to purchase bones from the butchers for a soup I was making. To my surprise, the representative asked why I required bones for soup. While I appreciate their curiosity, it felt unnecessary and invasive as I didn't feel obliged to provide an explanation. Nonetheless, I politely informed her about my purpose.

I believe that customer service should aim to provide assistance and fulfill customers' needs without judgment or unnecessary questioning. While it is crucial to ensure the availability of the desired items, inquiries should be conducted respectfully, considering that customers may have diverse reasons for their purchases.

It is my hope that the customer service team can work on refining their approach to create a more welcoming environment for all customers. I understand that each interaction may differ, but a consistent level of professionalism and courtesy would greatly enhance the overall experience.

In conclusion, although I had an uncomfortable exchange with the customer service representative, I hope this review can serve as constructive feedback for the business to improve their customer service practices. I believe that by fostering a culture of respect and understanding, they can provide a more positive experience for customers like myself who value professionalism and politeness.

Mike and the team provide great sausages, meat and the prices are good.
A outstanding local butcher who knows his products. Always helpful when a question on how to cook a cut of meat.
The sandwiches are always fresh, and delicious.
Fruit and Vegetables available as well, always lovely and useful to complement the meal if you forgot something.
Tried every sausage available so far, and all are excellent !

I get nearly all my meat from here. Top quality for a great price. Everyone is always incredibly friendly and genuine, and there is so much variety to choose from. I'll always support local butchers providing locally-raised humanely-treated animals.

A local butchers who sells a wide variety of quality meat and vegetables. Their variety of sausages are the best. My favourite are the diploma sausages but there are lots of others to try. They also do different kebabs and burgers so lots to choose from. Enjoy!

Lovely family run business and they’re lovely people too, always chatty. The burgers are second to non, I don’t know how they haven’t won awards as well as the sausages. Perfection.

Lovely family busines. Called in yesterday and asked for some advice for a 'really nice tea' for my Husband. The lovely man and lady helped me and I choose Italian Chicken (I think this was the name), Potatoes to do mash and some broccoli. Our tea was gorgeous. All really good quality and really good prices. #support local. Thank you to you both...my Husband was happy! Xx p.s the pies are amazing too. Xx
