I met Paul 9 years ago and was sold on WFP’s ethos of delivering a complete service with honest information and cost effective equipment for the client and not just to sell a product.
WFP designed a system specifically to my requirements being flexible as I was converting a building and needed the alarm installed everytime a floor was completed.
7 years later all the work is completed and the system work flawlessly.
If you’re looking for a fire alarm. CCTV. Door entry systems or electrical work you be hard pressed to find a company better than WFP.

WFP really know their stuff. From the initial consultation to installation, they guided us through the process seamlessly - no pushy sales tactics, just honest advice for what we needed (which was helpful, as I didn't have a clue!). They took the time to understand what was right for us, without making me feel my questions were silly, and without the usual trying to upsell unnecessary extras, which was really refreshing - enough so for me to actually write a review!! Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and great to work with - highly recommend!

May aswell use Checkatrade over this company. Half of the work is just subbies with a mark up and WFP only get involved when things go wrong.

Company has a whole new staff line up on a yearly basis due to poor management who find it acceptable to shout and threaten lower down staff members with no repercussions.

The electrical division is run by an individual who doesn’t have any respect for his staff and will lie to customers to cover up mistakes and have fights with sub contractors due to his attitude.

Avoid this company at all costs.

What WFP don’t know about Fire and Security probably is not worth knowing. The looked after us from proposal through to installation without trying to oversell us with items we didn’t need, in fact I didn’t feel I was being sold to more of a consultation and worked to our requirements, keep up the good work.

Towards the end of last year I was looking to change fire and security contractors so got in contact with WFP from the start of the process all the way till now, the staff at WFP have been most friendly and helpful. They came in best value and fitted the bill as to what I was looking for. They now currently maintain our fire and security systems across Essex.

So far everything has gone smoothly with no problems, I was a bit sceptical at first like I always am with new suppliers but my mind was at ease very quickly .

So far they have been very trustworthy, very professional and really helpful .

If you are looking for a fire and security firm to either install or maintain systems I cannot recommend the WFP team enough.

WFP have worked with me at Backhouse Solicitors since 2015 when we moved to Duke Street in Chelmsford and needed a new intruder alarm system. The old system was replaced with a much better one, and WFP also looked after our fire extinguisher and fire alarm maintenance for five years. The team are always friendly and helpful and we received an excellent service during that time, so when we moved to new, larger offices in 2020 we didn’t think twice about asking Paul and the team for help.
We knew that WFP had opened an electrical division which was great timing for us. Since buying our building, WFP have …. wait for it …..
- tested and upgraded the building electrics
- replaced the old lighting with new LED lights
- upgraded all the heaters to modern, more efficient units
- installed a complete Cat 6 data network
- tested and commissioned the fire alarm system
- arranged the fire safety report
- replaced the fire extinguishers
- installed a fantastic new intruder alarm that we can monitor remotely
- last but not least, installed an all singing, all dancing CCTV system
Phew! Scott and Alan have been fantastic managing the projects, taking time to understand what we needed and making sure the work was completed to a high standard. I would recommend that anyone needing electrical, fire or security work get in touch with WFP for a personal service and good quality, value for money work.

We booked 10 members of our team to do the Fire Warden Training course. This course was for 1 day and carried out at our office, meaning that we did not have to all try and find our way to another location for the training. The training was a good mix of theory and practical.
Our training was delivered by John who was fantastically knowledgeable on the subject and we as a group found him engaging.
We have all learnt a great deal on this course and have come away with the confidence to use a fire extinguisher should the need ever arise and the understanding of fire safety.
The cost of the course is very reasonable, considering we had 10 people on the course, it was in fact an absolute steal and invaluable when it could potentially save lives.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone, even if you think you know a lot about fire safety already, its likely you will learn something you did not know before.

A great and helpful team who assisted us in the middle of the cladding crisis sweeping the nation. As lay people thrust into the first safety world, WFP helped us each step of the way. All of the team are professional and approachable, with fantastic quality work in the installation (both the common areas and the wireless devices in apartments).
