I just needed somewhere to get my head down. It was close to the motorway, easy to find, secure parking. Host excellent facilities just what I needed. Good vfm. Entertained by peacocks.......a real bonus.

I stayed one night in early January whilst on a business trip. I was the only guest staying at the time and was given an ensuite family room (1 double bed & 1 single, with additional pullout bed under the single) for £40 inc cooked breakfast. ||I was given a friendly welcome. The room had good heating, the shower had quite low water pressure but was adequate.||The house was well set back from the road in landscaped grounds. Lovely big breakfast room and a lovely big breakfast.||I stayed "off season" on a Sunday night in early January - the two nearest pubs were shut in the evening but I gather would be open and serving food "in season". The Weston Manor Hotel just over the road serves food - I didn't go there so can't recommend one way or the other.

Beautiful location and house, friendly people and good service. I stay long term and wouldn't look for anything else as very happy.

we stayed here mid September 2014...........warm and friendly welcome from john and Susan||miles to a good sized newish farmhouse set well back from road in large garden with architectural features,..various water fowl ...free roaming peacocks||Our room faced out over these gardens..2 good sized beds.... good storage facilities....en suite toilet and shower.....separate wash basin in room...2 good armchairs & T V||Everywhere very clean and tidy||great breakfast...wide choice of cereals...full English breakfast to follow...|||| all set in beautiful dining room with period oak furniture ||||The M40 is about 5 min drive up the A 34 road to J 9.......( A34 1 min drive) ||A good base for exploring Oxford and other attractions||||At £65 for a double room we will certainly stay here again......a real gem||||TIP.......use this place if you are attending any sort of function at Weston Manor Hotel just over the road..............much cheaper!!
