We saw this place on tv, winning an award, and as we were in Nottinghamshire for a few days, we decided to pop in and see for ourselves. Lovely place and fabulous shop!

Great farm shop with award winning butchers. The meat is of very good quality, and whilst a little more expensive than most supermarkets, it's well worth the extra money.

The rest of the shop, including farm produce and delicatessen products, is also excellent.

There are lots of really nice produce here! Farm shops are more expensive than other outlets, with no exception here! However, you are getting fresh and quality produce! Fully recommend the fresh chicken and Stichilton cheese. If you are in the area, I would recommend popping in!

Love the deli counter. The farm version of a Stilton cheese is amazing. My go-to purchase, along with the variety of scotch eggs.

I go to the shop on a weekly basis to get freshly squeezed orange juice. The shop has a great variety of meats and seasonal mushrooms. I love the little jars with truffles in brine, the organic vegetables, and the local flour, which I use to make my sourdough. However, one thing I don’t appreciate is how the attitude of the ladies who work there changes based on what someone is wearing. When I go in my regular clothes, everything seems fine, but I often pop in on my break at work, and whenever I’m in my uniform, I always feel a patronizing vibe—strange looks and comments that make me deel awkward. Ladies chill its just a food store not Chanel Boutique🤦🏼‍♀️

Fantastic Pasties, Sausage rolls and bread made in own bakery.
Home cured Bacon, good variety of freshly made sausages, and butchery display with cuts not available in supermarkets and you can have as much or as little as you need, which is good for me as a single pensioner.
Proper old fashioned local produce .
Even got home brewed beers and spirits.
Real gem right on my doorstep. Love it!
