Shocking service. I've been waiting for 8 days for delivery and when I called them they still couldn't say when it would arrive. I then had to argue for a refund as they request payment when you place your order.
Avoid using them .

Didn’t deliver my fuel, didn’t inform me that they couldn’t deliver either, spent a day waiting for the delivery that never arrived. Was informed the following day that they couldn’t get the tanker to my house as the lane was too small for their tanker. Odd really as standard tankers have been coming to the house for at least six years ( including Watson tankers ) I now have to re order and pay an added £30 as the cost per litre has increased. Not a happy bunny

Made a order on October 18th for home oil paid by a bank transfer. was called by customer services saying I could not make a payment using my business bank account even though I work from home and It is perfectly Legal to do so. I was then forced to pay again from my personal bank account with the promise I would be Refunded immediately. The lady forgot to mention that they also decided to give me a new account number so double payments sat in one account, delivery was finally made the following week after so many phone calls and being told I hadn't made the payment, When evidentially they found it again promised refund .
it is now 20th November after another phone call of where is my refund and request to sort this out .was told refunds take 10 working days so far 6 weeks on still no refund. £402.67 is a lot of money to be sitting in there bank instead of mine . Are watsons going to pay towards my bank charges for making me go overdrawn waiting for refund ?
I have so far spoke to 5 different people all promising the will sort it and promising someone will call me back that same day which they don't . Why they couldn't just transfer the money from one account to another is beyond me. Also both times I could not make payment by card as there system wasn't working and had to do a Bank transfer makes me wonder if this was a con.
make matters worse they are now asking me to prove i made 2 payments .

The most awful company I have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service took me more than 2 months to get a delivery (despite being completely out of oil) even on the direct debit priority customer scheme…they said it was going to be delivered 12 times then would cancel last minute. Avoid using this company at all costs. I wish I had listened to all the terrible reviews before using them. 0 stars

Avoid this company at all costs. I have been waiting over 2 months for delivery, checked my call log, I have rang them over 20 times, never answer phone, always wait for a call back to be assured "delivery will be tomorrow" never turns up, more phone calls. Reason I kept with it is that oil prices have increased 30+% since ordering so did not want to cancel. I then get call saying the Redruth depot does not have suitable tanker, only taking 2 months and 4 days, they did manage to take my money from my account within 2 days of ordering. Every other company has managed in the past with no problems. Bottom line is Watson have cost me circa 300 quid due to oil price increase. Absolute shower of....

This disgraceful company doesn't deserve even one star. I ordered well before Christmas, they cancelled the order promising a delivery the next week, nothing. Eventually my calls were answered the first after over 30 mins of waiting the second over 40 mins, both employees were disinterested & stated that 'if you've been told you'll get a delivery before Christmas you will'. I've never used the leverage of age before but I did this time stating that we were both pensioners of 74 & 75 years & it was essential that we had heating, pointless though, it obviously made no difference as we had a call on 23rd December telling us that there would be no delivery. No heating for Christmas thanks Watsons, your service stinks!

I wish I could give them No stars, i also wish i had read the other reviews before i placed an order as it seems we are all having the same problem.

Placed an order for heating oil to be delivered by a small tanker due to access on the 20th of September 2022, told delivery would be before 30th September. Nothing arrived, rung up and was told i should have stated i needed a small tanker when i ordered !! and that these incure a extra 2 week leadtime. Said this wasnt acceptable as i was nearly out of oil, was told i would be placed onto the priority list and delivery would be made within 48hrs, 3 days later nothing. Rung back again and was told that i should have been told to allow 21 days for delivery when needed a small tanker when i placed the order.

Customer service team dont care that you cant put your heating on and cant even give up a delivery date range (i,e 3-5 days) all they say is they only plan 24hrs in advance and you will get an email the day before delivery. Also on hold for between 25-35 minutes before the call was answered.

Went down to console oils spoke to the great team, explained my situation and they are getting a delivery out to me within 3 days, that is customer service !

I read the other reviews and feel it’s only fair to say how helpful Watsons were to me. I ordered via BoilerJuice and hadn’t used Watsons before. Was told my delivery would take 10 days, but after 7 days my tank was getting low and very cold weather forecast. As I have a chronic illness it would have been a real hardship if the Aga had gone out and there was no central heating. Watsons’ customer service were very understanding, and oil was delivered the next day. Couldn’t have asked for more, so well done Watsons.
