The garden centre here is great with a very good selection of good quality plants at good prices. Top soil, manure, compost, turf available. Bottle gas is available also.
The farm shop is not very farm shop? The fresh fruit and veg offers have evolved into cash and carry style or fruit and veg. These are really good value and fresh.
Farm shop on the other hand offers little in terms of what you would expect from a farm shop. Not much selection. The double yolk eggs are good though.

Purchased rolls of turf from here today great turfs, best value for money by miles in the area, any turf I need for jobs I won’t go anywhere else.

Very nice helpful staff they have a convenience store in the middle and surrounded by a selection of plants and flowers and equipment, a very useful place indeed if you're into gardening and enjoying outdoors! There's also some other facilities onsite! Access is simple, including wheelchair and it has parking onsite although you can miss the entrance on whalebone land which is only defined by a few wooden signs at entrance on the road side!

Bought a steak and ale pie in the farm shop to eat on sight. It was delicious. Large lumps of meat and delicious gravy. Beautifully light pastry and well cooked. Definitely recommended.
Staff are also friendly and it was all reasonably priced.
There is outside seating and also a bar.

Love it being local, helps save some money and having a mix of bit, for gardening to, food, snacks ect. Friendly staff, can use wheelchair some lose stone so may need help being's pushed out side in side can be independent, still recommend by me and others who go there to by some fresh veg fruit, farm food & gardening

Good shop.
Value for money applies if boxes of purchase is shared among friends families or large families.

Don't expect top of the range quantity. We get more than what you pay. Only thing is we have to make use of purchase made.

Consider commuting time, fuel costs.

Best formula is few families team up together and do a rota system to get fruit and vegetables to door.
