Jeff and I can't thank you enough for making our Wedding such a special day, all our guests feedback has been amazing as well.

You all worked tirelessly to make our day so special. We seated 150 people and had in excess of 180 attend, which your bar staff coped really well with.

We chose Ware Priory for our Wedding on the 26th October 2024.

They were recommended by a friend, who had looked at the venue for their own wedding. We were supplied with an e-brochure showing multiple venue options, pricing and a selection of recommended catering partners.

Kerry Mavris was our point of contact from start to finish and I can't thank her enough for her hard work and patience.

As we live outside of the UK, things were a little tricky to organise, but Kerry and her team were excellent.

We were both so pleased with how they carried out their work. As soon as we agreed to hold our wedding at Ware Priory, Kerry was quick to arrange a follow up meeting (which was carried out via Zoom), where she offered advice on which room to would be best for our wedding size, drinks packages, seating for the ceremony, the sit down meal and many other minor details. We followed this up by filling out the booking form to reserve the date.

Kerry kept us informed of Wedding Fayre dates, one of which I went to with my Mum and my Sister. Kerry was in attendance and showed us the available rooms and the chapel. This allowed us to get a feel for each room and helped us make our decision. The Wedding Fayre was really helpful as I managed to book several of the service providers including the photographer, wedding celebrant and interior decorator.

Closer to the wedding day, my fiancée and I met with Kerry and some of the suppliers in order firm up a schedule of the days events. This really helped to bring things together and put our minds at ease.

It was clear that Ware Priory have wealth of experience when it comes to these type of events and this was invaluable throughout the whole process.

They were very well organised and very accomodating when it came to last minute changes.

The whole day was a roaring success and only made possible by the good work carried out by all the suppliers, of which Kerry and her team were an essential part.

Beautiful wedding held here. Service good. Could do with adding tea, coffee for those that do not drink. I feel the food should of been left out in the evening until the wedding was over. Staff seemed a little too quick to tidy away. Parking good. Lovley vista to the back. Conservatory definitely needs to have the roof cleaned and gutters cleared out. Could also do with an outside area for people that smoke.

We went to the Priory last night for our works Christmas do. Very disappointed, hence the 1 star.

The prawn salad was just very sad looking and the turkey main was measly, it looked and tasted like it was an ASDA microwave-ready meal. The sticky toffee pudding was nice though (see pics). Also, bread rolls were handed out from clear plastic bags 🤦‍♂️, weren't warmed up and we weren't asked whether we wanted brown or white, just got what we were given.

Furthermore, they were obviously trying to save money on heating as it was cold in the function hall, even with lots of people in there.

The coffee tasted like supermarket value brand instant.

Finally, as plates were being collected at the end one of our party was holding a spoon which was snatched out of his hand!

Overall very poor experience that did not meet expectations.

Kerry helped to guide us through the planning process and was friendly and helpful at all times.
On the day, Sue, assisted by Rebecca, was superb. The team could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Sue even went the extra mile and put our cake together for us. It looked beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and we and our guests had a perfect day which we will always treasure.

Wedding attended. Lovely venue ..spacious but cosy .has a great atmosphere staff friendly and happy to help and service very good.. super by the canal to sit outside with a lot of benches in the shade especially as it was so hot.

Great to have a beer in such a lovely place. Staff were first rate. Thanks
