Visited Warbreck cafe today, ordered 2 extra hot Lattes and 2 portions of toast. £3.50 for 2 slices of toast. When coffee arrived it was just warm, had to ask for extra milk to top them up as they were not a full cup. Then the toast arrived it was made from very cheap sliced thin maybe medium bread and was cold. For £3.50 for 2 slices of a cheap sliced loaf is definitely not value for money. Bill was £15.90 if the bread was thick good quality bread I wouldn’t mind paying that price. Won’t be back!

We spent a couple of very enjoyable hours here - including an excellent lunch with good old fashioned table service. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable - especially the gentleman we spoke to in the outdoor plants section. He gave us lots of valuable information about looking after olive trees and Japanese maples.
Thank you very much and looking forward to returning very soon.

Called yesterday with a friend, not very buisy, ordered drinks and toasted teacake and granary toast.
Teacake came, toast was basic wholemeal toast. No granary. Drinks arrived about 10 minutes later.
Got toast changed to teacake, so by the time it arrived drink was like warm.
£14.75 Bill.
Won't be going back.Very disappointed.

We had a lovely visit. Always a warm welcome. Following a visit to the restaurant where we had a lovely afternoon tea we browsed the beautiful Christmas displays. Jannette was amazing in helping us with our choice and ensured we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for her even though it was a busy afternoon. I highly recommend a visit beautiful setting and five star plus service.

Went to Warbreck with a friend for lunch, there was loads of selection on the menu and the quality, portion of the food was amazing for the price.
Will definitely be returning.
Staff are welcoming and eager to have a chatt.

Disappointed with the cafe. Only one cake option suitable for someone with dairy intolerance and staff refused to offer a simple toasted teacake as an alternative because at 3pm ‘everything in the kitchen was turned off’. Really? How hard is it to switch a toaster on? Very poor and outdated approach to customer service and dietary issues. There is a very popular cafe in Keswick where every cake is made dairy free and they are indistinguishable from the dairy versions. That’s the up-to-date way of treating customers properly! Warbreck garden centre could do to pay that cafe a visit and learn about true customer service!

Called today along with my husband and a friend. We ordered coffees and scones. We did say we didn't want the jam but asked for extra butter instead. When the scones arrived they still had the jam, but just one extra pat of butter. I did point out that we had said we didn't want the jam, but we're told it came with scone anyway. The scones were the smallest scones I have ever seen and we're so small as to weigh virtually nothing. I refused to pay £4 each them. We drank our coffees and left. We won't be going back.
