DONT BUY TOO GOOD TO GO FROM WALTER ROSE BUTHCERS . I think my photo speaks for itself. Cheese was so rotten it had to be binned. I have complained to too good to go as you need to be removed from their app as clearly off loading bad food that’s only first for the bin.

Very disappointed ordered off website kebabs shown as 3 skewers. Ordered 4 expecting 12 at £16.58 delivered only 4 small kebabs making each £4.14 each!

Ok so this is a nice butchers shop - a good choice of meats & offal on the counter…..so yes it was nice to be able to buy fresh calves liver, kidneys etc but, seriously, they have really inflated prices, outrageous in some instances.

A kilo of lamb mince £30.46! I had to go back the following day to check that they hadn't made a mistake - that made one extraordinarily expensive shepherds pie! I won’t be buying that again from them.

I live in West Wales and my local craft butcher charges around £10 per kilo.

Phoned ahead to make an order for large family gathering. Everything was ready and waiting on my arrival. Service was great and the food outstanding.
We ordered a whole honey-roasted cooked ham, it was honestly the best ham I have ever tasted and this was echoed by many food lovers in the family.
Burgers and sausages we ordered were also extremely popular.

When it comes to a butchers, for me quality almost always outweighs quantity. I bought two centre cut fillet steaks here and these were not huge, but I still remember the texture and flavour it was so good.
The store made Pork Breakfast, Italian and Venison sausages are to die for as well. Not cheap, but god they are so very, very good.
Their pastries are almost as good but here is the only area I can lay any criticism of this butchers. The hand raised pork pies are stunning in the texture and flavour of the meat and the pastry, but they are absent any jelly...which is a disappointment. Everything else, quality, knowledge and service, they're brilliant.

Great staff and great products!!!! Highly recommended!!! I have just had a lamb and mint burger, cooked it on the grill and oh my gosh... The smell of it cooking was amazing! The flavour was spot on! I look forward to trying something different next week!!

I love a good Butchers.

People, place, products perfect.

Would highly recommend to domestic and catering customers. Offer a large range of items in their cozy shop, staff are polite and offer expert knowledge for cuts of meat and meal ideas.
