This family-run butcher shop, located in Brunstfield, Edinburgh, offers an exceptional selection of fresh, high-quality meats.

While the prices may be slightly higher than those found in supermarkets, the superior taste and quality of the products are well worth the investment.

Pork and tomato, as well as beef and onion sausages,sirloin steak , and homemade steak pies, are among the most popular items for me in this shop. The display is visually very appealing as you enter.

The butchers are friendly and knowledgeable and have "simply the best" Banter . A must visit if you're in the area .

Recently moved to the area, trying to stay out of supermarkets as much as possible. Easier to do with a high-quality butcher like here. Great quality at fair prices.

Very rude. No one else in the shop. Asked for beef bones, I had asked how much earlier in the week, and they were 2.50 according to one bloke. The guy I dealt with unfortunately had charged me £3 a kilo.
I asked if it would be possible to have roughly 2kg in one bag and 1kg in another, as i was buying one kilo for a friend. He replied, "I'll give you another bag, and you can do it yourself."
I will certainly never return, and I encourage everyone else to shop elsewhere.
It's a great shame being such a traditional butchers that this is how they treat their customers.

Excellent local butcher.
Bought a large steak pie for New Year's Day and was delighted with the quality and price. Great value for money.
Cash only, which is unusual today, but your bank, Google or Apple doesn't need to know everything you buy, so I have no problem with it. ATMs are nearby, so don't let that put you off shopping here. Just be aware.

Great butcher with friendly service and reasonable prices. Be aware that this spot is cash only, but well worth it to buy local and fresh, and there’s an ATM just around the corner! Absolutely try one of their delicious steak pies.

Bought a two person steak pie today and it was excellent.
