Good cinema. The screen was nice, sound was good, but I don't think I experienced surround sound. Pleasant experience, expensive popcorn but cheap tickets. Toilets were clean too. Friendly and helpful staff. There's ample parking and next to Conway Park station.

This movie theatre provides and nice cinematic experience! The screens and the sound quality are good and the seating is comfortable with plenty of legroom. Two films (Thursday + tonight, Friday - very friendly staff. Food and drink as usual overpriced. Deadpool/Wolverine - genuinely funny and clever - but will Deadpool ever be as fresh and funny as 1 + 2? Beetlejuice 2. Packed audience first night. Nothing special. Expected more from Tim Burton and Michael Keaton. Clean toilets. Decent atmosphere.

Vue Birkenhead. Went to the 4pm viewing 4th January.
Theatre was practically empty. People on there were mostly femal with young kids.
From the start there was chatter from the back of the theatre which got progressively louder as the film progressed.
About an hour in one woman was having a full blown conversation on her phone.
I shushed them once and this had no effect whatsoever.
When we exited the theatre I approached a member of staff and asked if they monitored this kind of thing.
They said they did but only one time per show as it had been out a while. Said I should have let them know!!!
Vue, your staff need to do their jobs properly. Ruined my viewing.

Ok so I don’t usually review places, but I just had to write this one on because this whole experience I had today was just annoying. I was going to see wicked because I just thought, why not it’s ariana grande init, so I get some snacks and sit down ( large popcorn- £8 !!!) When the movie first started i thought, Wow this is kinda quite for a movie theatre, but whatever. Then 10 minutes into the movie, someone on the outside of the emergency exit door starts banging on the door! why?, I do not know. After a couple of minutes of this, a few people got up to go and get someone, and then it stopped. But when I tried to pay attention to the movie after that all I could hear (because the movie was so quiet) was everyone around me eating, opening snacks, sneezing and coughing. I could not stand this and could not concentrate on the movie with all the noise. The tip of the iceberg was when I spilt my “expensive” popcorn on the floor, so I got up and left, I have never left a movie before but I had too. I just couldn’t watch this movie id hyped up so much in my head in those conditions. Vue cinema, count your days. xoxo

I'm absolutely appalled at the state of the parking at your picture house THE VUE PARKING BIRKENHEAD. Drove there an hour beforehand not knowing if the car park had been repaired, to find it hadn't and people were fighting for parking or it was mayhem. People just driving in then out people parking on yellows, someone had parked on the kerb outside under a sign that stated could get a penalty. I'm not the sort to break laws or boundaries. The Vue have lost a good customer that always uses or did there VIP. Always order food. If I don't get a refund when I pop in and speak to the manager. I'm watch emerald rather than Wicked! The Vue will have a lot of explaining there staff were rude when I went in to explain over the parking. I won't let this drop. Until I cannot be bothered wasting my time and effort. I will go the odeon yes it's a tat more expensive but at least you get quality!

This Vue, is relatively small in comparison to some. Booking online was really easy. On arrival the parking was easy too, I have a disabled mum of 74yrs and we parked in a disabled bay - close to the building.
The entrance hall is clean, well laid out, no steps, push button disabled doors. When we purchased our treats it was a simple transaction we were able to use debit card / cash. There are no stairs to the actual screens until you get into the viewing screen - where you'll find your booked chair.
The toilets were clean and well maintained. The seats in the screening room were clean, in excellent condition, the surroundings were clean too.
The staff that we interacted with were professional and smartly dressed. 5☆ experience

We celebrated a birthday in Vue Cinema Birkenhead today and the amazing staff brought some barrier posts for our red carpet to make us all feel very special - and keep the paparazzi on distance 😉
A day to remember with a super funny movie (Mummies - Discover A New World) on a fantastic screen (Studio 7) and very comfy seats.
With super fair prices at Vue we had the opportunity to invite lots of guests without blasting the budget.
Definitely my No.1 Cinema!!!
