I went to Viv's for the first time, as I wanted to treat my mum. The place was packed (probably due to the Vintage day that was happening?), but the staff was extremely friendly and hard working. It did take quite some time for us to get our coffees and one slice of ready cake, but I suppose they were serving on a first come, first serve basis and it was very busy, so they must've accrued a backlog of orders.
When the coffee did arrive, I was a bit disappointed. The lattes didn't taste of much, so either the coffee beans are weak or the barista didn't put enough coffee into it.
The slice of coffee cake that we got was very tasty. The icing was a bit much for our liking, so we scraped some of it off.
What was worrying was that we had 2 sharp pieces of walnut shell in our cake which I bit on.
Considering how busy it was, we simply let one of the staff know and left, but I did suggest that they sell the cake with a disclaimer, especially if people are buying it for their children. I hope the young man passed on the feedback.

While I wasn't too convinced on the food and drinks, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff are absolutely lovely. I also realised that you can order 'proper' food, so I'll be going to give that a try at some point.

I do want to give a shout-out to the lady taking the orders at the till at around 1pm and the young man serving and carrying up to 10-12? boxes of juice at some point. Having done this type of work before, I know it's stressful and physically demanding especially when it's this busy, but they were always friendly and helpful to those 'excuse me's around me.

Wow! So good!

My fiancée and I came in here to have a light breakfast and instantly blown away by the food options.

I had eggs benadict with bacon instead of ham which was Superb! And my fiancée had All the meats, which was fabulous.

Recommend this place 11/10 👌👌👌🎖️

We used to go here when it was called the Chocolate Cafe, which was always great value for money, lovely food and very busy.

We went to the rebranded Viv’s Cafe where the number of customers and value for money menu options were very much down in our opinion. I had a bacon brie and cranberry toastie with side portion of chips (at £12.50) and my wife had a fishfinger wrap (at £11.0). The bacon turned into ham and the fishfinger wrap was mediocre at best. Probably won’t be going back to where we originally spent many a lunchtime snacks at.

We recently had a brunch here and enjoyed the experience and food. The service was good, however because it was very busy we did have to wait and prompt for our order to be taken. The food was great and there is a good selection of veggie options available. They also have a great selection of cakes available. We had a tiffin slice to take home for later which we both really enjoyed.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill since what appears to be a change of ownership. Food is much more expensive with a toasty over £10 and a glass of orange juice £6.50; food options are more limited and the quality is poor, I sent mine back as my cheese on my tuna melt wasn’t even melted. Milkshake was like flavoured water. There’s a sign that says ‘please wait to be seated’ however you’ll be waiting a while as the person dealing with this is also serving on the till; after waiting for a while we were just told to sit wherever. We used to enjoy coming here but I don’t think we’d go back any time soon.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Grange Chocolate Cafe in Wokingham, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sweet scent of chocolate.

The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed to enjoy my visit.

Now let's talk about the chocolate. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely divine! The selection of chocolates and desserts available is impressive, with a wide variety of flavors and textures to choose from. Each bite was a heavenly experience, with rich and smooth chocolate melting in my mouth.

Not only do they serve amazing chocolates, but the cafe also offers a range of delicious hot and cold beverages. Whether you're a coffee lover or a tea enthusiast, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

I also appreciate the attention to detail in the presentation of the food and drinks. Every dish and cup was beautifully decorated, adding an extra touch of elegance to the overall experience.

Overall, I cannot recommend the Grange Chocolate Cafe enough. It's a haven for chocolate lovers and a perfect spot to relax and indulge in some sweet treats. So, if you're in Wokingham or nearby, be sure to pay a visit to the Grange Chocolate Cafe. You won't be disappointed!

First time here with the family. Breakfasts were good, and the coffee was excellent.

Classic breakfast had lovely hash browns but not a fan of how they cook bacon. Great eggs and sausage.

We also had pancakes but they follow the North American trend of syrup and no honey option.

All in all, over £40 for two breakfasts and three drinks makes it a treat and not a regular.

We love going to this lovely cafe tucked away inside Holme Grange Craft Village. There are lots of little shops and independent businesses to have a look at before or after stopping off at the cafe.
There is a little courtyard with tables and chairs for eating al fresco and lots of space inside the cafe as well. Dogs are welcome which is always nice to see.
Today we had breakfast and I had the classic breakfast whilst my friends had the smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast. Both meals were excellent and al good value. The staff are very friendly and accessible. We were tempted by the amazing cakes they have there but decided we were a bit full up and declined.
All in all a great little place and good value for money.
