Hi! I've bought three oyster mushroom kits (pink, yellow and grey/navy) to my boyfriend as a Christmas present. He absolutely loves it! All packed and sealed very well, fast delivery (parcel was at our house two days after my purchase). We strongly appreciate the fact, that all three kits had a guide inside. It is a step by step guide, include precise and clear instructions, good tips and even some recipes for meals where we can use our own Oyster mushrooms. So, even if you unsure that you can grow mushrooms on your own, you don't have to be afraid, this guide will help you deal with it easily.
Besides, it's a very good idea to send us a kit with code inside, to use it later to order a spawn, when we are ready to grow another kit. We prepared two kits first, then we've decided to wait another 2 weeks and ordered the spawn for free. Thanks to that we can enjoy to grow our own Oyster mushrooms for longer, because they are not ready at the same time.
Also, I must say I'm very pleased with communication between customer and the seller, I've exchanged a few emails with Elliot and he replied very quickly, always happy to help and advice (thanks a lot for that!).
Approx. one month after my purchase we have our first oyster mushrooms and we are delighted!

Ordered two items for Xmas presents which were in theory dispatched over a week ago, but according to Royal Mail tracker never received by Royal Mail. Have been trying to call for three days and sent three emails but no joy 😔
UPDATE - got a call back to offer a replacement for one of the missing items but the other was out of stock. Arrived in time for Xmas

I was just getting ready to start my kit (very exciting) and sent off for the spawn. However before it arrived I broke my arm and to be honest, forgot about the packet which had arrived. By the time I opened it, the spawn had gone weird so I contacted the company to check if it should look as it did! The answer was no, it was not usable but even though it was my fault for leaving it, they sent a FOC replacement. Lovely people to deal with. Now awaiting mushrooms....

We love our Urban Farm Mushroom Kit! It's an excellent project for the children and me during lockdown! A great educational resource where kids follow instructions, take care and nurture the spawn until the mushrooms grow (incorporating science, awareness of growing our own food etc), which is fascinating to watch and then being able to harvest them a few times over! We did get in touch with a couple of questions which were welcomed and really helped. Another great bonus is 25% off our next kit which we will be ordering! Urban Farm-it are great! My kit arrived quickly and the instructions are easy to understand but thorough at the same time. I'm currently enjoying watching my first flush of pink oyster mushrooms grow!

As someone who enjoys connecting mushrooms, this made the perfect gift for me. Blue grey oysters mushrooms 🍄. No one else in my household was as excited as I was once they started fruiting. I don't know why!
