I called to reserve a table, the lady was very helpful and gave me some seating options. On arrival staff very helpful and friendly, had tea for two which came quickly. Ordered the Reuben, huge with salad and chips, very tasty too. Also the BBQ pulled pork with salad, coleslaw and chips, good size portion and freshly cooked.
The carrot cake was delicious as was the sticky toffee cheesecake.
My wife said the Reuben was the best she had ever eaten.
Great selection and everything looked good.
Will definitely return soon.

What a lovely find this was. Our first trip to Beccles and we were looking for somewhere nice to eat. As a lot of places didn't serve food till 6 we went in Twyfords intending to just have coffee but found there was a fabulous menu and gorgeous garden to sit in. We ended up staying for a meal which was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely as were the staff. Highly recommend this place.

Had a cream tea. It was OK, nothing particularly special taste wise but the jam came in pastry cup so if you don't use it all in your scone it is a free jam tart! Quantity of cream was perfect. We sat by a local who evidently goes in regularly, and with good reason, they had the most delicious sandwich I have ever seen, which could have fed me all day. When the only negative to think of is you wish you had walked in 20 minutes later and said "I'll have one of those" it has been a good day.

We went on a Wednesday which is usually quiet so that was fine. Waitress service very good and cheerful with it. I had the salt beef jacket potato £12.50 which was a big letdown. It tasted like a reheat and the dressing amounted to about a teaspoonful. My friend had the Suffolk Melt which looked much nicer than my dish, with fries at £16.45!
Not overly impressed at the high prices charged. I realise the café is in a prime location but just hope the staff are well rewarded for their work.

Looked like a really nice coffee shop but sadly very poor quality left me very disappointed.
The coffee was the coldest coffee I have ever been served and the coffee and walnut cake had icing that seemed to be almost entirely made out of sugar. I hate leaving a poor review but this place really needs to up its game.

Superb café with a lovely secluded garden area at the rear. We had a cooked breakfast there (see photo) which was superbly cooked and with excellent ingredients. Very meaty sausage. Very tasty bacon. The fried bread in particular was crispy and not at all greasy. Very friendly staff. Very relaxing. Great place all round.

What can I say...other than the place is great!
The staff are friendly the coffee and cakes are awesome, they have a good selection of food and some great coffee and chocolates to take away.
It is not cheap but you do get what you pay for, so it's worthwhile! It's inly slightly more expensive than say a costas but it's a world away!
