Two Two's Hertford - Hertford

We have been to two twos a few times now, and unfortunately the standard has dropped each time.
Picked up an order and after a 10 min journey home, half the food was stone cold yet the other half was quite warm,
Chips were so tough and hard
Some tenders were decent some were tough, burgers tasty but really small.
Shrimp banging though.
Prices gone up, standard and size have unfortunately gone down..
Not trying to be negative, just wasn't enjoyable.

Went on a quiet Friday afternoon. Good customer service. Simple menu. I had the burger and some shrimp for side. The shrimp was lovely and the sauce on the side was nice. The burger as you can see in the pics looked amazing, however it just lacked seasoning. Also it had bacon inside and I had to open it up half way through eating as I couldn't taste it. When I opened it there was tiny amounts of bacon on top. Friends I was with said the fries were lovely. Sadly wouldn't make me want to return as it was just ok and for the price( £12 for just the burger) it should really be amazing. Hopefully the burger patties will get some salt and pepper as I really think that will transform the burger. Overall 6/10 🙂

Honestly, I’ve had food from here so many times with all my friends and everything about it is amazing. The chicken tenders and signature burger are sublime. Keep doing what you’re doing guys !

Amazing quality food - some of the best burgers and chips and wings I have had in a long time! 10/10. Would highly recommend to everyone. There cauli wings are my favourite … oh and try their slaw - it is perfection!

Me and my flatmates used to order from two two’s regularly. Food can be up and down. When they get it right it’s amazing! My only vice is I absolutely loved the king cod Burger which is what I always ordered but it was removed a few months ago and hasn’t returned. I will admit it has deterred me from ordering from two twos. But other than that they are descent. I would recommend.

Was excited to try this place as the menu looks great and was looking forward to working my way through it, how ever after receiving my order I can’t say I’ll be back, Chips and burger were Luke warm at a push and a Pepsi that tasted as if was 75% water,, definitely had much better quality for less

This place used to be decent but last few orders have been awful. Food arriving freezing cold, no rosemary on the fries when ordered, burgers tiny and tasteless and thrown together with no care plus the chicken tenders were chewy and tasteless. The food is massively overpriced for what it is, don't waste your time and money, their is much much better chicken/ burger places in the local areas.

I've been a long time customer and was once a huge fan, recommending Two Twos to everyone in my network within Hertford. Unfortunately, the quality and service has severely deteriorated since they opened and my order last weekend prompted me to make the review.

One issue is that they have changed how they package their chips. Previously they were served in paper bags which retained heat and kept them crunchy. They now serve them in open top cups, so 99% of the time they arrive stone cold. Even if I pick up, after a 5 minute drive home they are still cold. Surely they realise this? It's a simple change and an easy fix.

The delivery service is woeful, I'm sorry but it is. Again, back when they started, delivery was always prompt and came with a smile. Now it's more unpredictable than our weather, even if you pre order for a set time (turns up an hour early or an hour late). This is likely a cost saving exercise.

When they get it right, the burgers are brilliant however it's far too hit and miss.

This review is meant to be constructive and I hope they make a few changes to improve the basics.
