Tweddle Children's Animal Farm - Hartlepool

We had a fantastic afternoon at Tweddle Farm!
There’s so much to do – we only saw part of it, but we’re already looking forward to coming back to see the rest! The tractor ride was great fun, we got to see what the rest of the farm had to offer, and though we missed the barrel ride, it looked brilliant (and both are free!). Lots of friendly animals to pet and feed, plus great play areas indoors and out – including soft play and go-karting.
Food and drink were easy to find with a cafe on-site and a cool airstream food trailer near one of the play parks, which was really convenient. We visited during the Easter holidays, so there was an Easter egg hunt happening, along with some fairground rides and fun games at the bottom of the farm, adding even more excitement to the day.
A great day out for kids and adults alike!

Oh my word, where do I start! We went a weekday before the easter holidays the first time. First impression was that everythinh looked a bit tired…BUT: i was wrong. The kids (5&2) had an absolute blast. Meeting and feeding the animals, barrel rides, reasonable priced food and drink, sunshine and great outdoor fun. The kids kept on talking about it for weeks now, so we went back today. And it was even better. The weather was grey and rainy today, but we had so much fun! Meeting Rabbits and Ginue Pigs, Feeding Lambs, barrel and tractor rides, beautiful peacocks, service with a smile… to end it with an absolutely entertaininh foam party. The staff joined in and the young lady, long dark straight hair and a few tattoos on the arm was just so amazing with the kids! It was fabulous and a great day out. Each time we spend over 5h here. Thank you!

Wow this place is huge. Way bigger than I thought it would be and a wide variety of things to see and do for kids if most ages. Obviously there is lots of animals to see and feel, but there are also games and activities such as football golf and pool and play areas. We went in October half term so there were also Halloween themed things to do around pumpkins and ghosts and ghoulies.

Way better than I imagine it would be and decent value as it could easily be a full day out.

Decent place for the kids. Definitely improved since the last time I visited. Make sure you go when the weather is decent as it's predominantly outside.

Really nice area reasonably priced for the amount of stuff you can do here can quite easy stay most of the day and the children would be occupied during the full day. Plenty of places to sit if you bring your own food.

Have yet to try the food here so can't comment on that brought my child here a number of times and she always loves it always the little extras like the paid for rides there now and the tractor ride around the farm is good fun

Absolutely amazing place,plenty for kids and teens to do,we visited with 2.. 14,9,10 yr olds and they all really enjoyed it, loads of animals to see and also feed, loads of parks dotted about,go carts,tractor and barrel rides inc in the price. Lots of places to have a packed lunch but also they have a small cafe with plenty seating and the prices were very reasonable aswell,we visited during the October half term and the pumpkin patch was on,was plenty of photo opportunities and we got some brilliant ones, the staff were all so friendly and helpful,in particular one of the scarecrows (didnt catch his name) was really good and gave us loads of information about the different events they do through out the year,will definitely be returning and will also recommend a day out here.

Lovely staff and I was pleased to see all of the animals had good, large and clean enclosures with plenty of enrichment and looked healthy. Things aren't signposted very well, we only discovered half the park on the last tractor ride of the day before the park closed. Some of it was very run down and just needed a small bit of maintenance to make it so much better. Quite a lot of broken ride on tractors with no wheels/seats/steering wheels, boggy and unusable sand pit, no toilet roll in toilets and baby change was very dirty (I cleaned it with a wipe before using). Cafe food was tasty, served quickly and was really reasonably priced. Felt like a high cost for entry considering a similar attraction close by but is a lot larger/newer is the same price.
