A huge asset for Truro, so many ingredients that you can't get in the supermarkets which is great, it's a much needed beacon for exotic ingredients in Cornwall.

The veg was in pretty poor shape though and I couldn't find the price of many items on the shelves.

Great selection of halal meat, atta, rice & spices which aren't found at your typical superstore. Great little gem making Cornwall accessible for Muslims!

Not impressed with this shop at all. Told they would have meat, but when arrived they had no chicken left. After driving from Reading, I was given no help at all with this, shop keeper is completely unhelpful and not friendly. Don't recommend, feel sorry for people living there and needing halal meat options.

I love this shop so much! The staff are really nice people and very helpful. They have so many products. I love cooking things from different cultures and this shop beats any other for things that you can't find in most supermarkets.

I'm extremely disappointed with the way my complaint was responded to.
I found a huge piece of metal in the tropical sun cassava flour while making food for my child, as a mother, obviously I was terrified.
I understand they are only a retailer and not producers of this product, but they are better placed to inform this company about my findings, which clearly, constitutes a food health and safety hazards.

So I called them and explained the situation, the guy told me, I should have checked the product before buying!
He also said I should send him the pic on WhatsApp and he will send to the company ( very good step)
But he went on to say he does not produce the product in his shop or house!
I'm obviously not stupid, I know he is a retailer, all I was expecting from them was;
Sorry to hear about this, unfortunately as a retailer, I can not guarantee the quality of this product, if you send us more information, I can pass your complaint to them! Simple.
But at no point did he care to feel any compassion, no kind words at all, appalling customer care!
I do not expect a new bag of flour or return of my very tiny amount of money, all I need is to know that I'm valued as a loyal customer that I have been.

Fantastic stock of produce that you would only find in a larger city. Kind, friendly and welcoming staff who go the extra mile to help. It's a blessing to have such a wonderful shop in Cornwall.

Halal meat In Cornwall. Awesome !
We were staying at a lodge for 7 nights near Penzance and we’d come from West Yorkshire.
Picked up some meat on the way down to our destination.
Very convenient for me.
