What a wonderful amenity, and tourist attraction to the beautiful Sett Valley and Torrs Hydro country walks. Though it appears to have had teething troubles in the past, it is currently (pardon the pun!) showing a rating of 47Kw and water is gushing over the weir from the rivers Goyt and Sett.
A magnificent viewpoint. Well worth a visit. It would be great to see more of these innovations installed elsewhere.

I've been going to the tours for many years now and it is a place of mystery and beauty ,,never get bored and great for the kids to play and run a round, or if your a climbing buff then you can climb the cliffs with safety of course..
