Great selection of food. I had a scone with jam and cream, it was delicious. I also tried a taster cake which was also great. All of the other cakes looked rather tempting. They do also serve savoury snacks. Coffee ok but a bit weak and milky. The service was quick and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I'll definitely go back.
I've been back many times and it was good as ever. Still highly recommend.
I have visited many times since my initial review, the latest was in early May 2022. No need to change my original review, it's still great.

The best cakes in Cambridgeshire! These cakes truly blew me away! I'm a very tough critic when it comes to cake, but all the flavours we tried were exceptionally moist, light as a feather, and packed with flavour (but not sickly sweet). I was so impressed that each of the ones I tried only got better than the last! The service was also lovely, and although it was busy inside, the staff quickly worked through the orders. I couldn't be happier- I think I'll be back every Saturday!

I had a caramel latte and my husband had a cappuccino. Both were delicious with a perfect amount of syrup. Indulged in the white velvet and cranberry cake. Very yummy. Highly recommend. Staff were very friendly and took our order. From what I saw good teamwork and empty tables were cleared quickly. Will definitely visit again. Well done St Ives.xx👏👏

A good little find that is an asset to the town - provided it keeps up its standards.
Great selection of cakes, including some less common types, and a wide selection of brownies. Decent portions and well made. The coffee is also well brewed and of a good quality.
Staff are very good as well, courteous and considerate, asking all the right questions.
The only downside is that the seating area upstairs lacks atmosphere, with plain walls and hard flooring making it a bit hard to hear your conversation, and the seats are rather uncomfortable.
