I put my mower in for a service and it's come back like a new machine. They discovered and fixed all the little niggles that I had been ignoring as well as repairing it and giving it a great service. I'm really impressed - they went the extra mile and did a fantastic job despite it being one of the busiest times of the year (first cut of the season). Thank you so much.

Tried to buy a replacement chain for an electric Stihl chainsaw (I bought at the same store) using a photo of the exact model number on the chainsaw. Told by a senior member of staff it was not possible unless I confirmed the bar length. Left the store. It turns out there is only one bar length for that model. Seemingly he didn’t know that and couldn’t be bothered to try to find out.

popped in on saturday needing a fuel hose for my mower the gents were so very friendly and helpful i wouldn't go anywhere else now brilliant old school personal service very rare to find nowadays

Started charging for parking for stays over 15 mins which will have a detrimental impact on the other businesses in the local area. Can't get anything done in the 15 mins, should have made it 30 mins if they wanted to stop all day parking. Even applies overnight when shut.

Fabulous country store. Very well stocked and had the exact boots we were after, but we couldn't get elsewhere.
We were a bit late and arrived just before closing. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The boots were on a good display and the correct size in stock.
A quick wander around the shop was a delight. Some lovely toys, mostly agricultural, such as really good toy tractors, combines and animals etc.
Naturally, there was the animal feed and bedding. I noticed the most delicious looking, fresh carrots in a mesh bag that any horse would salivate over.
Plenty of parking which easily accommodated the steady flow of customers at the closing time approaching. Obviously very popular already, but deserving of a visit from you dear reader.
There are loads of 'country stores' traditionally stocked for small holders, farmers, animal lovers and rural living, but this place stood out.
Loved this shop. It's now my go-to for work wear, animal bedding and food, and farming toys for the grandchild.
Sorry I didn't take a picture, but it's exactly where Goggle maps takes you, on the A38. Easy.
