Hidden away, on a small rural lane, approximately in-between, New Mills & Hayfield, we discovered this small craft beer mico brewery. Unfortunately it wasn't open, untill a few hours later. So we unfortunately had to carry on, our trekking journey. However later in the evening, I managed to sample a few pints of their produce, from the local Sycamore Inn. The blue Ron ale. Absolutely delicious. 👍🏻

Thornsett Brewery & Hop Yard is one of my favourite local spots. Owners are friendly and very welcoming. They patiently answer all the questions and can recommend which ale will be the most up your street. They are really supportive of other local businesses and often have some delicious grub at the hop yard too! Really worth a visit! We always get some more bottles to take home or to gift to friends. I seriously could not recommend it enough!

A lovely little hidden gem you just might stumble across on your hike. Ales brewed on site and the one we tried was lovely. Owner is super friendly and happy to chat. Can’t wait for summer to sit out on the grass and sample the ales and local food truck offerings.
