After a wapping great breakfast next door at Crofton Hall coffee shop we always pop into this cheese farm shop.
We bought 3 cheese wedges and some red onion marmalade and nettle cordial.
Just finished the smoked cheese! Such ridiculously tasty cheese. Now I'm going to try and sneak a taster of my wife's 2 goats cheese portions that we also purchased. Well worth a visit.
This whole site of small businesses at this Crofton Hall site is woefully advertised on the main A595 road but needs you to visit and spend your money.
Take a walk after round the lovely large fishing pond nearby. The last time we did that the Swan mother greeted us with her chicks. Walking up to see what we had brought her.

Fantastic cheese farm with a small shop. I was blown away when I opened the door to the shop and was hit by that lovely cheese smell. Nice range of products at good prices and staff was extremely friendly.

Fascinating shop selling a wonderful selection of raw milk cheeses full of health giving conjugated linoleic acid. The lady that served let me try several cheeses and I chose some mature cheddar, smoked cheese and some brie like cheese. Very educational visit.

None of Thornby Moor cheeses are vegetarian. I had to ask about this because there is no labelling to tell customers that all their cheeses are made with rennet from the stomachs of calves or kids. It's a missed opportunity not to cater for vegetarians. Another other local cheese company, Mawbray, makes all their cheeses with non-animal rennet and they are delicious. Also Torpenhow Cheese Farm makes excellent cheese that vegetarians can buy.

We are soooo happy that we found this place. Very tasty cheese. Totally recommend it to everyone. Lady who works there is amazing. Will definitely go back again there. If I could, I would give 10 stars, not 5.
