Really great vibe here! Interesting venue and great space. The beers are as good as you'd expect from an award winning Brewery like Thornbridge, great selection of their classics and also specials.
We tried the pizza too and considering this is a Brewery not a pizzeria I was very impressed! Absolutely spot on 10/10

Lovely venue, nice pizza and good dips however the drink let this place down. Most the beers were IPA's / Pale ales / larger which all were very similar. The one stout was mediocre at best, lacked taste. If you are into your real ales / cask ales I would give it a miss. Instead maybe go to the Titanic brewery / tap room in Matlock.

I was absolutely over the moon that my friend took me here whilst staying in nearby Tideswell. There was a huge range of beers and you can't get fresher than drinking in the brewery taproom!

Vibes, Pizza & good Beer...enough said. Recommend getting a flight of 3 thirds to try a couple of different options.

It did go busy quickly on Saturday so consider reserving a table.

If you know, you know! One of the original trailblazers in the UK craft beer scene. Still as good as ever. Delicious ales and beers, yummy pizza and some merch as well. Family and dog friendly.

When a two-day job came up in Derbyshire my first thought was: how far away from Bakewell is it? Turns out not far at all, so I booked a place to stay and made plans to visit the @thornbridge taproom.

And visit @thornbridge.taproom I did.

Although taproom as a description doesn't' really do it justice. Tapwarehouse. Tapcavern. It's huge! Huge yet comfortable and homely which is a remarkable feat. It was only a Tuesday night but when I walked in around 5 there were already a decent number of people in there enjoying a pint or two - it's the happy people that really help to create such a positive atmosphere.

And what makes the people happy? Probably the beer, at least in part (it's also the other people, I know). I've always found with Thornbridge that you can be sure of a great pint, whatever your tastes and style preferences are. And I wasn't disappointed at all: I tried 1838, a new beer made on the union set, DDH Makeney, and both the regular and AF versions of one of my favourites Green Mountain.

I also grabbed a pizza (they offer vegan cheese for us lactose intolerant people) and had a good chat with a guy who was clearly proud that he could call the Thornbridge taproom his local - I don't blame him! What a place! Even I made myself very at home there for the evening and it's the kind of place you could just keep coming back to - especially since the beers are ever-changing and always delicious!
