By far the best coffee we have had in Scotland. It’s just like
We get at home in Aus. Smooth and tasty. Staff were nice, efficient service. They’ve also got delicious looking pastries

Ordered online for the first time as a change from the usual. Most dreadful coffee beans I've ever had - would rather go and buy the Lidl own brand. Much better options available. Got three different flavours and every one has the same horrible bitter taste. Avoid.

Disappointing Customer Service and Quality

I have been a regular customer for a number of years and recently purchased their Colombian Dark Roast but have been very disappointed with the beans and the customer service. (The Full French roast was my go-to bean prior to this with no issues)

The beans I received were much wetter and oilier than I expected, which led to issues with my grinder and brewing process, resulting in excessive waste. Despite reaching out to Thomsons multiple times and explaining my concerns, I have not received any satisfactory resolution or follow-up.

Their initial response acknowledged the oily nature of darker roasts but did not address my concerns adequately. It has now been several weeks without any further communication, and my issue remains unresolved.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Thomsons Coffee and sadly will be taking my business elsewhere.

My go to coffee is a flat white with a strong coffee taste punching through the milk. I was recommended St Vincent roast by Connor. Wow, just wow. This is the most delicious, strongest coffee I have ever tried. I have honesty now found my go to coffee and I will consider no other. I also got some barista tips from a friendly staff member from the west end branch. He took a good 5-10 minutes out of his time to give me some help. Kudos for the customer service. Top marks from me and a new returning customer!

I've had a delicious oatmilk latte and a chocolate filled pastry. Absolutely amazing costumer service and wide range of coffee beans that are available to purchase so you can enjoy it at home too.

Thomson have done it again. Best coffee I've ever tasted is Renfield, however I've just purchased a 250g trial bag of "Andre's Trujillo", 1 word.....wow, totally different from my usual in that it's slightly stronger, tho the sweet, fruity after taste makes it extremely hard only to have 2 cups.
Well done Thomsons, U.K.s finest roasters.😉

Been buying Thomson's coffee beans for 30 years. They are still fantastic. Was in the cafe buying beans and thought I'd get a takeaway coffee at the same time. Excellent service, great staff. Terrible terrible coffee. I couldn't believe how bad it was.
