First visit to Thirsk Racecourse and what a fabulous day! Made to feel extremely welcome the minute we walked through the gates. Really well managed inside, all the stewards were friendly and helpful. Only downside was if you are sitting out of the sun under the gazebo it gets very cold very quickly, so had to keep my coat on all day. Hopefully next time the sun will be more apparent. Could not fault the facilities or the service. Will definitely be back very soon.

Our first visit to Thirsk racecourse and we loved it. Facilities were great and parking close to entrance in the premier enclosure. Well worth the extra cost

What a fabulous day, 12th April 2025, all the staff were extremely helpful. The racecourse was buzzing with families, groups of ladies and gentlemen and couples, enjoying the atmosphere, food and liquid refreshments.
All though we were on a tight budget, we had the best day. My son and friend came for their first time at a racecourse, they said they'd love to go every weekend. Thank you for making our day so special.

We had a brilliant day at Thirsk Races on Saturday 3 August, once again we were blessed with the weather. The food and service in the Thomas Lord Suite was excellent, all the staff were lovely and friendly. Only way it could be improved was for the music to have gone on a bit longer at the end of the event. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous family day out on Saturday. The weather was much kinder than last year which helped! It was our first time in the Hambleton Restaurant but I’m sure it won’t be our last - everyone enjoyed their meal but it would be great if you could add baby changing facilities with direct access - maybe in the disabled toilet? Excellent champagne 🥂 🍾
