The venue speaks for itself and is so timeless.
The team were in touch all the way through our planning and had a handy checklist for us to refer to throughout the months leading to the big day.

I recently attended an event at Thirsk Lodge Barns, and I was blown away by how beautiful it is! The venue is stunning, with amazing architecture and lovely surroundings that make it perfect for weddings and special occasions.

Everything was clean and well-kept, which added to the overall nice atmosphere. But what really impressed me was the staff. They were super friendly and made everyone feel welcome. They took care of everything, making sure the event went smoothly.

If you're looking for a beautiful venue with great service, I highly recommend Thirsk Lodge Barns. It’s a truly special place!

I don't know how to put into words how amazing this venue and all the staff are. The moment myself and my now Husband went to look round, the staff made us feel at ease, answering any questions we had and communication was great, responding to my millions of emails.

We fell in love with it there and then and both knew this was the place we wanted to get married, the main barn, courtyard, dining room, grounds, and both cottages are decorated beautifully, the VIP room for the bride and groom on the day is such an amazing idea.

The details and craftsmanship that has gone into this place is beyond words, our wedding day went so smoothly with the help of all staff and wedding coordinators from Thirsk Lodge Barns. The staff were so kind to our guests also, accommodating everyone and all of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was. We cannot thank you enough!

Thirsk Lodge Barns was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The team went above and beyond to create the most amazing day for us. Despite the detailed instructions we provided, they executed every single aspect flawlessly, and not a single detail was forgotten.

From the very first conversation to the wedding day itself, we felt incredibly valued and important. The team made us feel as though we were the only couple getting married there, even though we knew they had other weddings going on. That personal attention meant the world to us.

We chose TLB for our December wedding, and very glad we did. All the staff we dealt with in the lead up were very friendly and helpful. We visited the site a few times prior to the wedding day, and the staff were always keen to help.

On the day (and during clean-up the day after!) everyone we dealt with was amazing. Everyone was professional, kind, and just a pleasure to work with.

All our guests commented on what a nice venue it was throughout, pictures look great. The night stay before on site was very nice as well, with a generous amount of accomdation for us and some of our guests.

Oh Thirsk Lodge Barns - where do I start! As a wedding photographer I have worked at numerous wedding venues, each different in their own way but each missing something! Safe to say when I got engaged the hunt to find our perfect venue (mainly because of my very assertive and specific requirements) I honestly thought I’d never find the dream venue that I had so perfectly envisioned in my head! But then I stumbled across Thirsk lodge barns’ Instagram and utterly fell in love! Before even seeing the venue in person I felt the instant warmth of atmosphere through the pictures and communications with the team! Everything was so simple and straight forward. From seeing their availability calendar online (and with that deciding that we’d do the utterly crazy and book/plan the wedding in less than 6 months!) to emailing the team, seeing the venue (and yes it absolutely does live up to all the gorgeous pictures you see online!), organising the day and then our amazing wedding day! There was no stresses or worries whatsoever, and the team at Thirsk Lodge Barns are truly amazing!

There’s so much that made us fall in love with Thirsk Lodge Barns; the exclusivity, the adaptability (the decor possibilities are endless!) the warm and rustic yet classic and elegant feel of the barn, the farmhouse accommodation, how so well thought out the whole venue is, and from experience, I especially loved how the rooms were turned around without the guests and yourself ever noticing- the ceremony space truly does make the best dance floor to party the night away!

I honestly can’t thank everyone at Thirsk Lodge Barns enough for making our wedding so stress free and truly the most amazing day! Nothing was too much to ask and even when sneaking in to an open event the girls recognised me- it’s like a lovely little family! I’m a great believer in honest reviews- people need to know what they’re getting! But I can honestly say I have nothing remotely negative to say about this incredible wedding venue! It’s simply perfect and you certainly would not regret getting married here! I hope I get the pleasure of photographing a wedding here one day just so I can come back and see the wonderful team!
