This was my first time here. I had not idea about it. It is such a lovely setting. The menu is quite big and the food we ordered was all great. I had a Philly cheesesteak. There are lots of cakes to choose from at the entrance.

Out the back is lovely sitting area with a view across the lake. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Can't fault it... relaxed cafe with decent home cooked breakfast at decent prices. Dog friendly and husband was happy watching people fish out of the window!

I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions and I've always had a nice meal but today was a terrible experience.

Our order came out and it was wrong (these things happen) but the issue wasn't the wrong order, it was how it was handled.

The older waitress who brought the food out didn't offer any apologies for the mistake, infact, made us feel like it was our fault!

The table behind us and in front of us had issues with their order too.

The food wasn't great today either. Chips were cold and my food tasted undercooked.

So I went to pay, same waitress took my payment, no apology for messing up our order.

The younger girls are lovely but this older server has always had an attitude on her.

I came here with my wife and her uncle he's been coming here for a long time and I must say that this place is amazing the food is amazing we will be back there soon I had the steak pie with sausages and mashed potato and veg see my pictures the wife had a cheese steak Philly baguette salad as well she loved it my daughter and son-in-law cajun chicken burger and spaghetti bolognese❤️👍☕🍽️

This is an amazing little cafe! Well worth a visit. It sits a little way back from the main road but its an excellent find.
Located next to a beautiful little fishery, the cafe is a good size and boasts a conservatory area and veranda where you can watch the fishermen at work.
The food is incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced. You get a lot of bang for your buck here.
Staff are very friendly and attentive.

Great wee gem of a place .. friendly warm welcome staff great beautiful views in conservatory looking out over the fishing ponds .. food always delicious .. fab varied menu .. priced really reasonable .. girls are always so helpful to everyone nothing is too much trouble
