Me and my family of 5 went for an unorthodox choice of Christmas dinner this year and the viceroy did not disappoint! Quick service with friendly and welcoming faces and delicious selection of dishes to take me out of my plain taste palette.This experience was a beautiful change to a traditional meal and was very worth it!! I recommend it for your next Christmas (the Christmas pudding was out of this world )

I eat out a lot, which also includes many types of regional currys. This restaurant offers fusion/ unusual twists on Indian food in addition to your traditional dishes. I've only eaten here once, but what I had was very tasty. The staff are really friendly and give you plenty of time between and after each course. Hard to judge the atmosphere as I was visiting on a cold midweek night and being such a large restaurant it wasn't exactly lively. However, it is really nicely furnished and decorated and would make a nice location for a special occasion. Special note if you are not from the local area, which i wasn't. Some of the roads in the surrounding area are quite narrow and ought to be taken with care, especially in the deep of winter. Don't let it put you off, though. It's with the effort.

Excellent service and the food was absolutely delicious. We were recommended by a friend to try The Viceroy and wow we were amazed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to introducing themselves, and the service was also excellent. The food is also delicious, very well presented and you can tell they care for their business and customers. Definitely will be returning again soon.

A Monday night is never going to be busy, but two birthdays were being celebrated. The food was absolutely superb, with fantastic flavours and spice which were never dominated by heat. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, despite the various shenanigans of some of our crowd.

Lovely both as a takeaway and sit in restaurant. Food travels very well and no drop off in quality when having as a takeaway.
Reliable service, always get it right even when the order is large.
Lamb is always fantastic, vegetarian options are also good. Great place to try new things as you know they will always be good.
Great value for money as well - recommend it to everyone!

Booked for valentine's and the restaurant went all out amazing decorations an amazing menu that was great value and all tasted and looked amazing.
Fantastic service from all the staff and the food was amazing definitely a step up from a normal Indian restaurant. The place to go for a special occasion.
