Went on a 3 hour beekeeping experience. You get a lesson to start about the different types of bees, their lifecycle and the hive make up. Then you put on a bee suit and get to be up close and personal with them queen spotting.

They also have a farmers market every Tuesday!

My wife and I joined 5 others for a mornings beekeeping experience.
What a superb morning. Our hosts, Sarah and Steve were lovely, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and just wanted us all to learn more. Holding the frames, seeing a Queen, looking for eggs, larvae, honey, pollen, nectar and even a drone was really special. The aroma from the hive is unique. We even saw a few waggle dances. Finishing up with their own honey topped off the morning perfectly.
