The experience with Charlie from start to finish was incredible! I met with Charlie down at our venue with our vision of the lanterns and lights and it went from there! Charlie sent me ideas and I sent her ideas and then on our wedding day my vision was bought to life and it was INCREDIBLE! She fully understood the assignment! Not only is she incredible at what she does but she’s an amazing person too! I’m so sad my wedding is over now and we haven’t got more ideas to bring to life!

Charlie designed and installed a beautiful display of lanterns in the Tudor Barn at South Farm for our wedding day. She put them up at midnight the night before so they were all ready when we arrived. They looked even better than I had envisioned. Charlie is also very organised and such a sweet natured person. I can’t remember if I reviewed already but Charlie deserves another anyway!!
I emailed through my request quite late as I kept telling myself we were already over budget and I didn’t NEED the lanterns…. But I really WANTED them and the packages were very reasonable. Charlie was so accommodating, quick to respond to messages and followed my colour scheme SO well that the lanterns ended up an exact match to my flowers. Despite having no contact with my florist it looked like they’d decorated together! The lanterns were a gorgeous touch and really helped to bring out my colour scheme and tie everything together. Looking back at the photos I’m so glad for my last minute decision, it was totally worth it. I think the room would have looked a bit naked without them! Thank you again if you read this Charlie, you made a last minute change so easy and stress free and i recommend you to absolutely everyone!!

We met Charlie at a wedding fayre early in our wedding prep and after looking through her props on the Stables Prop Hire website we decided to contact her about hiring a selection of items, including gold candlesticks, a confetti basket and milk churns with eucalyptus. We had brought some of my own décor with the intention of doing the setup ourselves but as we were getting closer to the day we felt as though we should look for external help and this is where Charlie became a godsend. She had all the extra décor we needed to decorate the main barn tables, including faux garlands and white table runners to go with the gold candlesticks and provided lovely taper candles in different shades of green and white. She also did a beautiful job of setting up our décor in the ceremony barn and her hexagonal arch and drapes along with the fairy lights really brought the ceremony barn to life. Charlie was so lovely and helpful in the lead up to the wedding and had lots of great suggestions on how we could decorate the venue. This really helped put us at ease and knowing that she would be responsible for setting up the décor was a huge weight off our shoulders!

On the day Charlie did a great job of getting everything set up, having previously run through the plan with us in detail. We were so happy with how everything turned out and the whole venue looked beautiful! We received lots of compliments from our guests saying how lovely the décor was and our photographer, who’s worked at the venue many times, said she’s never seen the tables look so nice!

We couldn’t recommend Charlie highly enough!!

Charlie instantly understood the look I was going for with our wedding and her beautiful array of props were the little details and finishing touches I needed to draw the whole thing together. Communication was prompt, helpful and so friendly. There was no attempt to up sell or push for a bigger spend etc….it was simply listening to what I wanted and helping to make it happen. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, I will absolutely be using them again and I will be forever grateful to Charlie for achieving the exact aesthetic I was going for. 5 stars. At least!

I absolutely recommend The Stables Prop Hire - BEST thing you will do!

The Stables Prop Hire is more than a prop hire service so don't be misled initially from the name. Charlie goes above and beyond to make sure your day and the planning is as stress free as possible. Charlie also provides a setup service and her ceiling lantern rigging, is out of this world beautiful.

Charlie is not only incredibly talented but it is her passion for what she does, which I admire.

I contacted Charlie for a few props and the setup service, but it wasn't long until I just put all my trust in Charlie to have fun with creating candy jars, printing stickers, sourcing disco ball lights, choosing fabrics, picking colour schemes for the candles. Charlie was in charge - and it just took a huge load off my shoulders.

Charlie was also so proactive - contacting the florist and venue to sort a few details out. These are just some examples of how Charlie took things off my plate while planning to make everything come together seamlessly.

Charlie really took the time to listen and understand our vision for the big day, offering brilliant suggestions and also basically just being like a best friend throughout the whole process - with genuine excitement and investment in my big day.

I loved having Charlie there on the day to setup up and gave her a big hug whilst getting ready, knowing that I had absolutely nothing to worry about.

The end result? Every detail was so beautiful, spot on and done with so much love ❤️ My guests were blown away by the details. I have added some photos below - all of which was down to Charlie, making magic happen.
