A brilliant thing. If you're in Belper or Wirksworth and care about your food and it's impact on the environment then I can't recommend their box scheme enough. Organically grown produce from people whose care of and love for the land they have stewardship over is self evident. From three soggy, overgrazed fields they have grown a thriving market garden and a thriving, diverse community of people who work there, surrounded by rewilding and bursting with life.

I can't recommend this veg box scheme enough. Lovely organic produce and a chance to try some different vegetables that aren't available in the supermarket.

The personal, caring and attentive service, as well as the lengths they go to be so sustainable is just lovely.

I started ordering their veg boxes after i'd tried their salad bags (Best salad leaves I've ever had) but it's wonderful to support a local business and a really lovely team.

They also do some jars of sauces and fermented things like their own version of Kimchi and mushroom ketchup. I think I've tried them all, loved them all, and a few of them are now on my regular shop. I'd highly recommend the chilli ketchup. It's so flavoursome and packs a proper punch!

Buying from Pingle for me is a way of nourishing both my body and soul! I have nothing buy love for this wonderful local resource.

Superb produce ran by a very friendly couple.

Update: the produce is even better now. More choice, and as fresh as if it was picked on the day. Heartily recommend for all fresh food needs.
