Had a full English breakfast here. About £12. Really good food, just not enough of it! Tiny pot of beans was only half full. I mean, come on. That's not great. Only 1 sausage, 1 mushroom (2 inch diameter) 2 eggs (well done for that!), streaky bacon (not my fave but was good!), 1 slice of toast. Coffee was nice! Pub looked great! Would definitely go here again and do the main menu if ever I was down that way again!

We ate here around 3pm on a Saturday. There was plenty of people here to create a good atmosphere.
The decor and setting are all well done.
You can either order with a member of staff - or direct through a QR code.
We ordered a Sharer for 3 of us. This was just enough for 3 (not sure if it would have been any bigger for 4 people)

Mains arrived all at the same time, with our server asking if we needed any sauces - or extra drinks.
The food was good, but not "homemade". Only a minor point - as the whole experience here is really good
Thanks for a nice few hours

Came by here on a Saturday around 5pm for a quick bite and drink. The service was warm and attentive, and the food came quickly and was piping hot! I had some Triple Cooked Chips which were super fluffy inside and crunchy on the outside - really good, especially with some salt and vinegar. My boyfriend got some chilli loaded fries, which he also enjoyed though felt there could be more chilli! One thing that really stood out to me was the decor of the interior - the fairy lights were a beautiful addition! We will definitely be returning in the future, perhaps next time for a full meal ?

Peacock farm is a beautifully rustic building with stunning decor. A great setting for a wonderful meal.
No cash accepted. Always gets the ratings off to a bad start.
Roast dinner is limited to beef or vegetarian. The beef was so overcooked and tough. Very poor. The parsnips criminally underdone and unenjoyable. The green veg was ok and so too the red cabbage.
The Yorkshire puddings were obviously from frozen and completely overdone resulting in a texture more like a fortune cookie. I could well have found a message inside, " you're not going to enjoy this roast dinner".
A really poor effort from the chef and I'm surprised it left the kitchen. Other diners in our party had a cheeseburger and a chicken and bacon pie. Both were ok. The four of us that had the roast beef were very, very disappointed.
Puddings are good. I advise eating elsewhere and then maybe popping in here for pudding.
Service was slow and lazy. We only had one drink. We were not asked for anymore over the two hours that we were unfortunately there. Beer was ridiculously expensive.

'NO CASH ACCEPTED'

A 'Country Pub' on the edge of Bracknell. A rustic feel public house. Both Food and Venue were clean and staff were friendly.

Food: I went with a 'Flat Iron Steak' where the tomato was twice the size of the meat. Slightly undercooked as I asked for a medium and got a rare, but the steak was tasty.

Service: Mid afternoon visit in half term, there was plentiful seating, and ordering was straight forward and food served in under 15 minutes.

Atmosphere: a Rural feel in Urban Bracknell, really happy that we stopped by this fantastic 'Country Pub'

Amazing venue with great indoor and outdoor seating.
Food was good. Club sandwich excellent, desserts average, but what you'd expect for a pub.
Toilets needs some renovation, quite grubby.

Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our meals this evening - it tasted incredible. With that said, however, it did take more than an hour for our food to arrive. Nevertheless, the long wait was rectified with great communication from the staff and their attentiveness to my nut allergy. Will definitely be back for some drinks and the dessert menu 🙂
