I am really disappointed with The Palm tree company’s customer service team. In June 2024 I bought two Agave red edge palms for £65 each. On the company’s online website it states that these palms are Hardy to -8 and extremely drought tolerant. Both plants were planted in front of my house in the same condition and looked after in the same way. We never had an extreme weather this winter, temperatures never dropped below -5 (we live in West Midlands, UK). Sadly one of the palms hasn’t survived this winter. The other palm is doing absolutely fine. I contacted the Palm Tree company just to see if there is anything I could do to save this palm or if they could offer any other assistance, therefore just a blunt response received stating that their online description about plants it’s just a guidance for gardeners and no other advice or solution offered… I can’t believe I spent £65 on the plant which only survived 6months… very disappointed.

I contacted palm tree company after looking for my mango tree and was happy to have found one being very hard to find in the UK. I spoke to Allan and he was very helpful and answered my questions very quickly and provided an outstanding service. This is the 5th time I have ordered from this great company buying pots for bamboo, trees etc. I had just found this company by chance when looking for oversized pots 3 years ago to house a Eucalyptus tree in an Airpot. The service is great, great quality pots, fantastic customer service and free delivery up to Edinburgh. Last year I ordered one very large pot, 78 cm to fit my Eucalyptus tree that needed to be moved to a larger Airpot and I required a really large pot, when the the large pot arrived I realised I wouldn't be able to get the same quality and price anywhere else. The pot was such good quality that I recently ordered the same large pot again to house a second Eucalyptus tree and they look so expensive, more that the £249 I paid, there are some pots that are £100-200 more expensive for the same size and quality so I am very pleased with this company. The company does have more expensive pots but it's great that they also have this large pot that is fantastic quality and is great value too. Thank you The Palm Tree Company.
