Been buying at The Meat Hook since we moved to the area. A breath of fresh air ! A proper butcher. The staff are well trained and always offer advice or recipes for the buyer. The meat quality is without doubt the best I have sampled since my childhood (my Grandmother was a butcher). We have just eaten a couple of steaks (filet & a rib-eye) and they were fantastic. Well done to all the staff, you can bank on our support 👏

Absolutely fantastic. Went in for the first time today to pick up a few different steaks for us all to share: sirloin, ribeye and fillet. High quality product, superb service and will absolutely being going back.

I’ve only had the FINEST of meat from this excellent butcher! The team are 100% professional. They are very accommodating and will prepare cuts to suit you! The best butcher in Marlow, Buckingham and frankly all of England without doubt!!! 👍👍

The meat we have had from these guys is beyond anything we can say it is just FANTASTIC!! Everything we have purchased (from the sirloin steak , the chicken burgers ,the steak burgers ,the honey and mustard skewer through to the lamb mint kebabs) was just unbelievable in flavour. We also tried the new line in cookies and will happily say they are to die for.Then you have the service which is again beyond belief. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the product it really was a privilege to walk in and be served by them.We recommended the meat hook to other campers on the site we are staying at and they all have come back saying exactly the same.The meat is so good we are calling in on the day before we travel home to stock up on some of our favourites(as did the other couple we met)A massive thanks to all the team and can’t wait to see you again so we can enjoy more of the truly wonderful meat you guys sell. The best but hers I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately I only get to visit when I head back ‘home’ to see my parents! The kebabs are next level! Sausages are the best I’ve ever had and we’ve tried so many butchers!

Amazing! How a butchers should be. Great quality. Super enthusiastic service. Costs more but very worth it, especially considering how much a very average meal costs these days. Order the Iberico tomapork! Sensational!

I went for some beef cheeks. Amazing selection of every meat cuts/joints you could want. The secret is out. It was full of customers. Andy’s team are efficient and knowledgeable with great old fashioned Customer service. Grabbed a couple of pots of Jam which is really good. Highly recommended.

Excellent, friendly service and excellent meat. Bought some beef and made a casserole and the meat was soft and delicious. Been back several times since for mince, short ribs, sausages. All very good. Not cheap, but you pay for what you get.
