Wow what a great find whilst visiting the area - the local farmers market. Lots of great stalls, super friendly and helpful. Solsgirth stall went out of their way to help us choose a cut of meat, and their yummy eggs too. Learned that chicken eggs are the same colour as their ear lobes! A fact for a pub quiz eh! Thank you, highly recommend.

The location of the market is great,as it's a farm market wear decent footwear as it's a little muddy but the weather was a little wet.all the venders are up market so don't expect to find any bargains.
The stalls are undercover in sheds so you can browse out of the weather.There are conveniences that were clean and presentable.Parking, I could see becoming a problem as the weather improves.

Fun market with plenty of interesting local stalls (definitely couldn't resist a little spend - our only regret having eaten before visiting!) and free roam to see the animals, including some sheepdog training.

I love going to this market. Its there the second weekend of the month and open for both the Saturday and Sunday. There is a good selection of stalls selling everything g from pet supplies to hand made crochet goods, beer to pies, fresh baked bread to sweet treats. Some of the stalls are there over the two days others just one day but there is ways a great selection of goods. Be prepared to spend a small fortune there though but for me I have never had anything bad from any of the traders there and everything purchased has been worth what was paid.
